Usyk may actually be the Heavyweight Goat

He is great. In any better era he would have been challenged much tougher than he was fighting Fury, Aj, Dubois. He would have some losses, as many other greats had. All eras are tough and great. Nobody can prove that Joe Frazier was better than Tony Thompson or George Foreman was better than AJ. Or Sonny Liston was better than Dereck Chisora. Or Floyd Patterson was better than Joe Parker.

He is great. In any better era he would have been challenged much tougher than he was fighting Fury, Aj, Dubois. He would have some losses, as many other greats had.

Olympic gold medal. Perfect record as a pro. Unbeaten undisputed cruiserweight champion. Unbeaten undisputed heavyweight champion. He totally cleaned out two divisions and is still going strong at 38. Never seen hurt, never knocked down. This ring genius with the most multi dimensional style we ever saw just keeps beating everyone, bigger, smaller, stronger, longer, whatever, they all get beaten the same. He beat everyone he had to beat, everyone in his era. There is no such thing as a weak era, the perception of eras is what varies. Every era is as strong as the other. Usyk is unbeatable. I am confident he would figure out and solve any style in history including Ali, Lennox, Klitschko, Holmes, Marciano, Dempsey, Louis, Tunney, Johnson, Foreman, Frazier, etc. I see no reason why Usyk would not be able to solve the styles puzzles. Usyk is a feather fisted technician who is good at beffudling big stiff useless boxers with no stamina or chins who don't want to be in there. The greats of the past would not fall for his BS and would stick it on him and force him into a firefight which he would not win. Usyk is clearly the goat. His perfect career speaks for itself. But it's more than that. Did you see after Usyk was giving Dubois a pep talk, trying to inspire him to keep going keep dreaming. This is pure class. We never saw Ali do that to an opponent. We never saw any other ATG do that. They generally all acted like classless jerks after winning. Usyk is the ultimate class act. The boxing media knows it can't say Usyk is the goat because it's a message that its masters - the boxing establishment - does not want out there. Usyk dominance and supremacy made this era look weak. That's what all greats do. Chisora Fury AJ Dubois are same level as Foreman Frazier Liston Lyle, just lacking the 50 years of media hype. Chisora manhandles Frazier for crissakes. The only HWs anyone will remember without laughing are Usyk, Fury and AJ. Del Bum and Doof bwa...FOH. The likes of Frazier are still mentioned in high regard to this day. No one GAF about Del Bum but you :lol1: I'm a Usyk fan but his road to supremacy was paved in marshmallows.

The only one that can box outside of Usyk is Kabayel. The era is so bad you have media and fans pretending there is massive improvements in Parker who is just meh, Efe ****in' Ajagba and the likes. The same guys who was trying to convince the world Dubois was so improved, yeah it really looked like it lol These HWs are mutants not boxers. Dumbois is like Frank Bruno with less athleticism, power, a worse jab, chin and heart Bruno is a much better version of him, nobody gives say Tyson credit for destroying Bruno​ Just a load of big mutants pushing their punches. There is no snap, no technique, none of them have any footwork, a chin, defense, reflexes. I love Usyk and wish they was better and he had time on his side and its not his fault but this era is a joke. The only meaningful guy out there is Kabayel as he's ticked the boxes and has skills but just how much of it is down to fighting these hyped up, limited, rubbish HWs? Dubois didn't even look like an athlete today. He lacked coordination tonight. He literally looked more foolish than Cleveland Williams looked against Ali.

Not to say I told you so but its like I've been saying for years the HW division is garbage and the only decent one is Usyk. He's a great in an era of rubbish, soft HWs who are only somewhat competitive because of having such huge physical advantages. Its not quite Wlad era even then I'd take a prime Haye and PEDvetkin to punch holes in Dubois and the likes

Parker, Kabayel, and Itauma and you can make a pretty serious argument. You really can't. Why do we keep pretending these really chit HWs of today are good or legacy enhancing? Literally every HW who puts together a couple of wins these days gets hyped or is talked of as a contender or something, its embarrassing and almost as cringeworthy as womens boxing.

Again, Usyk is smarter than Lennox, he never makes mistakes, Lewis made two fatal errors. Usyk would not sit there and eat jabs either, best footwork in hwt history. Lennox was great, no doubt. ATG no doubt about it. But he made major mistakes. He miscalculated badly on Rahman and McCall. There is a flaw there. He also miscalculated with his silly predictions of Sanders and Kirk Johnson beating Vitali. Usyk doesn't make glaring fatal errors like Lennox has proven he has done. He has beaten a super heavy with skills ( Fury ) and puncher ( Dubois ) , a pressure fighter / swarmer ( Chisora ), and a good Southpaw. What do you mean he hasn't faced many styles? No -- he hasn't faced many journeyman, trail horses, and 0 bums. His record features all fighters with winning records. Would it make a difference if he faced 10 more fighters who were say 15-8 or below? No. If you objectively add up the win and losses of his opponents ( winning percentage ) it might be one of the five best in the last 50 years @ heavyweight. He is elite and currently beating father time on the cards ... for now. He is 38 going to be 39 at the end of the year. A sure fire first ballot hall of fame guy he is.​ That's a solid point through and through. A record boiled down to the best.
