Pound for Pound number 1 and Pound for Pound number 2, Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, look set to battle again in 2026, with Fury announcing a comeback from retirement that has stunned the world of boxing. As Bernard Hopkins said after being whopped by Joe CalSlappy, "the fans are the judges", and we all know that Fury won the first two, the first, via a masterclass of epic proportion, the second via invisible work, but it was there.
Fury dazzled in fight 1, winning the first 7 rounds, before losing round 8. The fight became closer in Round 9 as Usyk scored a flash knockdown, and although it was clear that Fury was unhurt, that was a 10-8 Round. Usyk took 10 and 11, before Fury rallied back in 12 to secure the win (in reality) before being robbed. Fury won 115-112. The fight was voted the best fight of all time by somebody on Earth.
The rematch was a scrappier affair that Fury clinched 115-114. For the third fight, Fury will be in prime condition, like he was for Wilder 2, is it dangerous for Usyk to face this version of Fury? Or does Fury need the official win? Despite being the real winner of both fights?
The first two fights were in Saudi Arabia, which as we all know is Usyk's home turf; it's practically Ukraine. But with the British Roar behind him on his home soil, could Fury stop Usyk? and not even need the the 3 judges - John Fury, Frank Warren, or Bob Arum to hand in their scorecards, and take it out of the judges' hands, as he likely will need to do to get the official win. Fury's condition for the second fight was a joke and Sugar Hill is a garbage trainer. In condition Fury and better trainer, he could still win. He won the first fight for me. Thought he racked up a huge lead, and that was the general consensus online, then after the fight everyone started to rewrite history by giving Usyk 3-4 early rounds that he did not come close to winning.
The second fight, many had Fury 4-2 up after 6, and that probably was the case, but Fury took only 1 of the last 6 rounds and was poor, but, to me, look at him? His condition was woeful. In England I think they could fight another classic like the first, as let's be honest, the second fight was crap. Nash out - His Majesty
Not how I scored it at all. The first fight was about even till the 8th, I thought Usyk took the last 5 rounds, 116/112
The 2nd fight was very close despite Fury's physical appearance. I gave Usyk the last 2 rounds, and he needed them, 115/113
That fight still has legs. Can still be sold. Wilder was, fact, suffering from arm injuries in his two losses to Parker and Zhang, though, he's massively getting on now, and Joshua is taking too much stick for losing to Dubois, Dubois is a very good boxer who is in his prime. And whoever won gets a final crack at a belt in my view, so it sells and has merit.
I think if they fought all those years back, Wilder wins by KO, mid-fight, now, I have no idea. If Wilder starts too cautously, Joshua could land on him and catch him cold, but if it turns into a fire-fight a few rounds in, I think Wilder will score the knockout blow. Wilder has more resistance. His knockout to Zhang was a bit of a freak thing and quite frankly poor refereeing and an illegal blow from behind, but Wilder lost his focus and was talking to ref instead of being alert. Excellent read of the situation.

Dubois is on a massive tear it’s one of the best runs at heavyweight I’ve seen in a long time.
I wanna see Wilder vs Joshua.
Theres quite a few heavyweight match ups we could’ve gotten 6 - 7 yrs ago that never happened.

I dont want to see a third fight.
I would rather see Fury-Joshua even if its 5-7 years past its due at this point, its still a good fight since theyve both declined.
Fury needs to get over his mental shit about not being the best int he world, Usyk proved hes better, get over it, maybe Fury would have won if he didnt gain massive weight inbetween fights and go on drinking and coke benders. but thats all hypothetical.
IDK what Fury is going to do with he retires, he is either going to have to become a coach and find meaning in that like Hatton did or he is going to enter a downward spiral.
Fury, Wilder, Ortiz > Joshua.
You've been FACT checked. Lol
Ortiz was late to the pros, and like Zhang, Joyce, Moore, Walcott; he peaked at a later age. Top ranked, undefeated and peaking when Wilder got him.
Older age peak, short prime.
If you thought Andy was hard on Joshy; you'd be very shocked how easily Ortiz would've ragdolled him.
Ortiz was ranked 4th by the ring and tbrb. He was not top ranked unless you count wbc rabkings but they had breazele as "top ranked" no credibility. And Ortiz was certainly not peaking as his last and only top 10 win came 2 and a half years before he fought wilder and in the interim he got busted for peds.
Ruiz is better than ortiz so I'm not sure how that makes any sense? He literally beat ortiz knocking him down 3 times in the process. Ortiz also avoided Joshua so people like you could forever come on forums and claim fantasy wins but in reality he was too scared which is a loss.

I guess Usyk will run his way to a close and unsatisfactory decision as he'd twice done against Fury.
Barring any miscalls on a body punch.
BUT IF....... Dubois gets the win, look for fans who are calling Usyk best of era to turn their backs on him faster than you can say "The Russians are coming "!
I think the same. No doubt Dubois was robbed of a minimum knockdown and chance to finish Usyk off. I do believe Usyk would have got up and tried to survive, but goes to show how badly he was hurt (from a legal blow) that he took 4 or so minutes to fully recover. Think Fury deserved the nod in the first fight vs Usyk also, but Usyk edged the second is a far worse fight. Nash out - His Majesty
How do you see Usyk vs Dubois going? Nash out - His Majesty

The first one was closer than the 2nd one. The 2nd one Usyk did just enough in most of the rounds to win clean.
1st go around was the best one anyways.
I don’t see a need for a 3rd go around.

The brief time Earn with Hearn managed Ortiz who he wanted Joshua nowwhere near the great Cuban. Shame Ortiz was so late into the pro ranks. Nash out - His Majesty

I think usyk should have to beat wilder who is the 2nd best fighter of this era to get a third fury fight. Don't see how he can survive thr biggest puncher in boxing history. 1 punch is all it takes cept when it takes more or doesn't happen at all. Wilder is used to knocking out old men just ask ortiz

After the performance Wilder has just put on in an outstanding knockout of a boxer with a great record, Usyk will want none of that smoke. Wilder is back! Nash out - His Majesty
We not only saw wilders power but we saw his elite boxing skill! Now wilder can win 2 ways if he has to. Of course if he hits you, you are done instantly everyone knows that but if his opponent is the cowardly type, Wilder will simply sit back and use his silky skills to bank round after round until you become desperate...then bam! You just got windmilled
