nah... bivol's boxing skill is just as good as ward maybe even better, but the difference is, bivol have a more active style whereas for Ward, he's too cautious. Bivol beats Ward to a decision. Ward's inactivity is what's gonna cost him the fight. Kov was landing shots on Ward, but Kov is not really a technical boxer like Ward and Bivol.
They’re nowhere near as good IMO. Bivol is good at what he does but he’s a straight up and down no special effects guy. I think Ward would figure him out pretty easily tbh, especially the 168 version who had a lot more athleticism prior to the injuries. We’ll never know but that’s how I see it tbh. I think Kovalev was a better fighter than Bivol too tbh.
I actually think Ward beats Bivol pretty easily tbh.

Not saying much since the weight class is historically trash.
Like bragging and making a big deal of how Norman is the best welterweight in the world right now not taking into account its an absolute wasteland
I see no comparison.
no, he not beating bivol.. beterbiev maybe but no bivol. ward was having a hard time with drunk kovalev.

Black privilege is when an afro fighter gets to run around the ring to a decision and have it called something people think is some high and mighty shlt like "sweet science" .
Also people having short term memory like froid, roid Jones, James toney, Mosley and Ali failing drug tests and getting caught with steroids but it being overlooked and yet still being heralded as great fighters. Heck even in ufc, how many times did john jones get caught with steroids and they still wanna crown him the mma ATG?
Ali wasn't well liked in his prime pre prison. Joe Frazier was more well liked by majority of America. Ali didn't become very popular until later in his career by majority of Americans. Floyd is well hated by boxing fans and media. Sugar Shane Mosley is grossly underrated. Canelo and many others failed drug test and are still considered all time greats. Jon Jones is not well liked or respected by ufc fans and media. Jon Jones is well liked by Dana white who basically owns the ufc. Thats too different things. There's no privilege in any of these arguments.

You wasn't the person I was addressing. So you can keep this to your self. Plus every nationality and race cheats. I can go down a list but then once again that would disprove your talking point. Plus black people didn't invent the term sweet science lol nor are they ones who only slick box lol.
What's black privilege? Also please let know what is your racial background? Since you brought up race and privilege.

I think he would’ve beat Bivol and Beterbiev too. People sleep on how great of a fighter Ward was IMO. Wasn’t exciting but very effective and always found a way to win.

He beat Kessler easily enough. Not saying he didn’t use the head but he was outboxing him quite clearly too. Wasn’t the cleanest of fighters but was definitely very effective. 168 Ward was a superb fighter, best I’d seen in the weight class since Roy.

Very effective because he was always allowed to headbutt, low blow and maul opponents on the inside to his heart's content, and to always fight with home advantage. He beat Kessler with a flying headbutt from across the ring. ****ing Disgusting. I'm glad the punk never achieved stardom or real popularity despite his ¨0¨.

If he was so great, why couldn't be win without illegal tactics and paid off officials? if he was so great he would win without massive asterisks over nearly all his best wins. I see him as a sort of america sven ottke. if he fought without all "hometown advantages" I.e paid off judges and reff he would have multiple losses on his record IMO
I thought Kovalev beat him in fight one, can’t think of any other fight he arguably lost.
He definitely used the dark arts but I thought he was an excellent technician too and just an out and out winner. I rate Ward very highly.
he couldnt even legitimately beat alcoholic kovalev who was inferior. first fight was a draw at best and second he punched him 5 times in a row in the balls
I had him losing fight one. Legitimately stopped Kovalev in fight two. He figured him out in the back half of fight one.
The truth is hate to those who hate the truth. Floyd/Ward are two very overrated fighters who gained a lot of advantages and benefits from black privilege. Floyd brags of his cowardice and how it made him rich and Ward covered his tracks of how he ducked the Golovkin fight. Ward had no drawing power because he was a boring fighter.

All you do is hate on Floyd and Ward. Its like you created a page just to hate.

Dre broke a lot of hearts on this board years ago. Ward is an all time great and would've beat beterbiev bivol GGG and canelo
Yeah he woulda beat them which is why he ducked golovkin and retired instead of fighting bivol and beter :lol1:
Some of us saw it play out in real time and aren’t going to fall for the revisionist history.
Golovkin's Coach: Andre Ward Must Go to 164 or No Fight
https://www.boxingscene.com/articles/golovkins-coach-andre-ward-go-164-no-fight
That whole article is in real time :lol1:
You're just trolling
To beat Ward’s ass Lil G would have had to have actually gotten in the ring with him. But “everyone from 154 to 168” suddenly became “catchweight” when Ward raised his hand,
Ward shoulda took it. Who tf is he to make any demands? Golovkin was the one selling out arenas in L.A and N.Y something ward never did and was never popular.
If he really wanted to he'd taken the fight
