How strong is Jake, really? Chavez is an inactive middleweight jumping three divisions. His chin ain't THAT sturdy.
He hits hard enought that jr refused to open up until Jake was completely gassed.
Was this PPV too? Has there ever been a worse PPV weekend?
Not often I don't even contemplate buying a PPV.
Man, c'mon....you knowwwww Cinco De Mayo weekend was a huuuuge L for boxing, ranging from the Times Square hogwash to the entire Canelo/Scull card. Inuoe had to save the entire weekend with a Sunday night fight.
"Who was your favorite fighter fighting at this point in their careers?"
Well, Naoya Inoue had already beaten Ryoichi Taguchi, Adrien Hernandez, Omar Narvaez, and Kohei Kono by his 12th pro fight.
So many times Paul was open to getting countered. Lazy jabs, exiting out with your hands down, ect. Any active guy is gonna beat him, its no wonder why he goes after retired boxers and mma guys.
Chavez Jr was always a Bryan Vera level fighter that benefitted from being rich and having a famous name.
He nearly beat Martinez, but Martinez was completely shot... as we learned in Martinez's next two fights.
Anyone picking Chavez to win tonight was delusional. Dude has the same backstory as Jake Paul - rich kid boxer. He's fighting someone younger, more athletic, and much bigger.
Anyone really believe these are real fights without predetermined outcomes? Everyone should have learned their lesson after Jake carried Tyson to the end in what was a sanctioned fight.
My thing is, you may be right, but I keep hoping someone will betray Jake's script.
