Lots of talk about Moses Itauma being finally stepped up, and will face former WBC Interim Champion Dillian Whyte. Old Dillian isn't anywhere near the level he was at 6 years ago. But if he can get it right in the gym then he'll be the toughest test Itauma has been given.
I think it's a great fight. For too long Itauma has been touted as a contender, despite never beating another contender. Not sure he's beaten anybody in the Top 15. So I'm happy to see Moses finally being tested by someone who's going to be firing back.

Maybe you won’t miss him but I have no problem with him. He was in a lot of good fights. He has made a lot of money so a fight with this kid is unnecessary. There are other fights out there for Whyte but I guess if this is the best paying option & he thinks he can win then why not?
He was in many good fights, but that was years ago. I think he understands he is not really in position to be picky now.
He disappointed me in Fury fight and that was 3 years ago. he looked like he didn`t even care to try. So I don`t expect much from him anymore.
I hear what you say, but I think Whyte doesn`t have a better chance, does he?
Cash out against Itauma or lose to somebody like Hrgovic. It is what it is. I don`t believe Whyte will ever get a bigger fight.
Whyte barely threw any punch on Fury 3 years ago in his career biggest fight. Nobody will miss him.

Otto wallin would be a good fight for Itauma. wallin usually fights with an element of fear and only half heartedly pitty pats. Itauma would splatter him with relative ease with the win boosting up his resume.
whyte is now considerably slower with terrible stamina. This fight from his perspective is all about the final bag. He likely knows what his fate in the fight is!
I think itauma needs a big name as he will just ko them fast otherwise. But his team are scared once itauma steps up he will need to stay there and no going back
How much is he getting paid? Whyte is washed for sure but is it really worth getting in with this young lion? This has Wilder/Liahkovich written all over it after what I saw him do to Dempsey McKean.

How about retirement money?
Whyte is old, whashed up, nobody sees him as a contender right now.

If he takes this fight you can be sure he doesn't see himself as a contender anymore.
Not sure Whyte would take this fight… What does he gain? Nothing at this point.

He's been a pro for 2 years. :lol1:
Perfect walk over fight for Itauma. Whyte would only throw 3 punches a round 5 years ago. He probably throws just 1 punch now...and he doesn't move out of the way of punches. How old is he now?
