“Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis has declined the fight against I for his WBA, IBF, Ring Magazine championship titles at the Welterweight division, aka 147lbs.”
Guess Bootsy finally found his balls to move up this time.
Imho he would've beat Teo in a fun fight.
i dont get it, why the hell would boots not jump at the chance to take on and smack around teo?????
noone ducks teo!! this is the guy who is insulting your race over and over again on top of it all as well
147 is boots weight class, teo is coming up, teo had decent power at 135 but that was 135 and hes been ok at 140 nothing special at all, nothing whatsoever to be ducking thats for sure lol
boots needs to open his gob and explain this and stop teo running the show
Just blame a lot of fights that fall through on Turki at this point. He started out with a bang but his lack of understanding the sport is finally coming to light. Fighters will take MINIMAL risk going forward in limiting the chance of blowing a Turki paycheck. The problem is, Turki is allowing fighters to either skip lines or still be rewarded for lackluster performances.
The massive paycheck should have been the carrot at the end that the fighters had a chance to get by facing dangerous competition. Not simply staying undefeated or winning against opponents nobody wanted you to fight.
Turki and Dana White are pairing up, no? As much as I think Dana is a crook, if he can bring the methodology of the UFC to a new boxing league that is backed by Turki's money, then this is how things should turn out in the long run. Fighters will have to fight in order of the rankings with zero skipping or cutting allowed, as they work their way to the top. Only 1 belt per division and I think boxing gets turned up on its head. The only push back I can see are the existing promoters and organizations not liking that and offering some kind of alternative payout to keep them from going over.
Boots probably figured it's a bad stylistic match up for him. Teo has dimensions to his game. Unlike Stanionis, Villa and Sergi Lipinets who are 100% predictable and only fight one way.
Good luck in the future Boots. I wish you success at 154 so i can become a fan again and put this blatant DUCK behind me.

Thought this kid was the real deal. Turns out he's mayweathering the biggest fight he can get. Must have some major flaws to dodge Teo.
