He lives the life he loves because he loves the life he lives. What I find the most disturbing is that he often like to blame and scapegoat others for his own life fuckups. I replied to you because I used to think the same thing as you about mental health but now I don't. What you've said here is honestly irrelevant because humans aren't immune to being emotionally overwhelmed just because they're starving. Yes, there are varying levels of tolerance to hardship/abuse/deprivation/tragedy/destitution and yes, people who grow up in less comfortable environments generally have a higher tolerance than those who grow up in a more comfortable environment which means... ...that environment is the variable & the human condition is the constant. There exists good & poor physical health, there exists good & poor mental health. Among all populations. Everywhere.
