Wow, Eubank - Benn was THE fight

I use the term skilled very loosely. Both guys showed heart, grit and desire so props for that. But in terms of skill there was a distinct lack of technique and quality throughout. It was like a memorable British title fight. Gomez vs Arthur. Maybe not even that level tbh. I think he meant "equally skilled" as in fighters of similar skill level...not that the combatants illustrated elite-level skill. I think his last word summed up the fight. I think this is the second fight between Brits that is a FOTY candidate, the other being Buatsi/Smith. While Buatsi/Smith was more important from a championship standpoint, it lacked the crowd/atmosphere that Benn/Eubank had.

Two equally skilled boxers who came to throw bombs. Yes, there's a place for ring generalship and supreme boxing, I love that too... 100x better than the 3 punches a round you see from Americans Come on now, I recently saw an American by the name of Virgil fight an ex Soviet by the name of Madrimov. That American displayed aggressiveness as well as good technical skills to earn a win in a highly entertaining fight. The same can be said about American fighter Boots versus Stanionis. Neither American threw 3 punches per round and I thought both Americans were more impressive than both Benn and Eubank. Having said that, I enjoyed the fight and take my hat off to both men for giving it their all up on that ring.

That was about the best we could have asked or hoped for. Eubank didn't get starched there won't be any drained excuses and Benn didn't so we don't have to hear he was too small. Entertaining but really scrappy. I actually think Benn sort of redeemed himself as for Eubank I thought it was a bit embarrassing despite picking up the win. Turns out they're pretty much made for each other.

Fight of the decade. Incredible. I don't know about the fight of the decade but so far, It has definitely been the fight of the year.

It didn’t have to be a war is exactly my point Just goes to show the level of boxing That's what made it so great! Yes, could've countered better, could've controlled the angles better, could've just used his size and jabbed his way to a win... ...but... who gives a f. We just saw a FIGHT

It was entertaining & the crowd was loving the genuine exertion, quality wise it was mid at best. Kinda like the opposite of Canelo - Khan in the sense that in this fight the bigger guy made heavy physical sacrifices & couldn't quite fulfil the contractually obliged stipulations, making the physical contest almost like a handicapped golf playoff (which as we all know, can be great lol).

With respect, only people that know nothing about boxing wouldn't rate that fight. That's what proper boxing is all about. With all respect , anyone entering that ring should be compensated Never will I call a boxer a bum or anything such but let’s be real , that is something that belongs in my backyard Sorry brother but let’s let the farce continue
