callum smith is too old to beat a prime benavidez. I pick benavidez by wide points decision.

Benavidwz doesn't beat the hell from anybody at 175. Callum Smith can not handle pressure. He struggled vs a kickboxer on short notice, was gifted vs Ryder, lost every round to Canelo who plodded forward winging single power punches at his arms, got smashed apart by Beterbiev. Just be the same old when someone sticks it on him easily getting backed to the ropes, shelling up, taking a vicious beating while sporadically looking to counter with the left hook. I think Benavidez would stop him for sure, maybe make him realise his times up and call it quits.

Benavidez has zero stoppages at 175. Smith does, but he's also not as good as Benavidez IMO, and he's only been stopped by Beterbiev. And Benavidez has a good chin. He was able to take Morrell's power, which I personally rate higher than Smith's. High likelihood that it goes to the judges and IMO Benavidez outworks Smith.
