Buatsi vs Smith
I have Buatsi beating smith in a very tough fight.Smiths always going to be dangerous with that left hook but he just doesnt fight to his advantages.
winner Buatsi
...........
Parker vs Bakole
I have Parker wearing down Bakole from round 5 onwards after a tentitive start from Parker but as the fight goes on i feel Parker will get Bakole on the ropes and put his head on his chest and get to work.
I can also see Bakole stopping Parker inside the first 5 rounds if Parker is slow at the weight.
Winner Parker
.............
Ortiz jr vs Madrimov
I have Foreseen Madrimov hurting Ortiz and winning by stoppage in the fight of the night with plenty back and forth.
Winner Madrimov
..............
Sheeraz vs Adames
I struggle seeing Adames getting inside enough to do damage to Sheeraz so i think this may possibly be the easiest fight to pick.(I previously had Dubois beating Parker as the easiest fight to predict with Dubois dominating Parker)
Winner Sheeraz
..................
Zhang vs Kabayel
I have Kabayel eating some serious leather from Zhang in the initial rounds and i can't personally see Kabayel lasting past the 6th
Winner Zhang
..............
Bivol vs Beterbiev
This is a hard one but the Boxer generally does better in the rematch in my opinion but these arent just a boxer and a puncher as they're both elite modern day greats who would both give anybody at light heavy absolute hell.Beterbiev was also injured not long before the last fight which is something to think about.
I'll say bivol wins a UD this time around
Winner Bivol
Best man won! He dominated other than the kd
True that im glad i staggered my bet
Was looking a bit dangerous for Kabayel but he showed he had a good recovery and chin plus he already put the good body work in
I see where you're coming from but are you sold on Kabayels defence against such a big sharp puncher?
Wilder for me is kind of slippery even when he was shot,he covers a large distance on the retreat and has fast and awkward head movement pulling away but Zhang still timed him with big shots.
Hrgovic always has a good sense of range and his defence and head movement is also decent.
Parker has great movement coupled with feints and head movement too but Zhang still knocked him down and landed sharp shots on the button.
Joyce obviously was static and slow but i feel like his head movement was on par with Kabayels and that was his major downfall.
Kabayel for me is going to have to go Joe Frazier or have a better chin than Joyce with a come forward style to get inside and i feel like he wont have either.
I guess this fight will show how good a chin Kabayel has.
May the best man win!

I call Parker and Kaybel to beat the fat meatballs easily.
Bivol vs old man Beterbiev is 50/50
It would not suprise me if Sheeraz is packing some glass.
Smith ko (before Artur he was on a roll, can see him rocking up though and giving half an effort and retiring though)
Zhang Ko
Ortiz decision, Madrimov did bugger all against Crawford and he’s going to be less inclined to put himself in harms way with Vergil.
Hamzah KO, huge for the weight, looks the real deal.
Shakur KO late in another frustrating performance, hope the electrician sparks him though.
Parker decision… think he will get out down again though but run over Bakole in the end. Lack of conditioning.
Artur Points, think he figured out Bivol towards the end and will pick up where he left off.
Should be a sick night of boxing, hope they turn the crowd speakers up to match the intensity in the ring. Please no more car giveaways and get the f on with the fights.
a few months ago i was very confident in my picks especially:
Kabayal by mid to late TKO via bodyshots or Big bang doing a Pricey.
Buatsi by boring close decision
Sheeraz by KO after a few early scares
Ortiz by decision
Beterbiev by late KO
Now the only pick im confident in, is Sheeraz but even he could get easily upset...
thinking both Buatsi and Kabayal most likely to lose & of course i put them in all my acca's :lol1:
As for Parker Bakolie. im not even sure Parker will win lol. Bakolie might steamroll him inside the first half!
I know Ortiz has good body work but some of the body shot counters Crawford landed on Madrimov was sickening and he couldnt even brace for because he never saw them coming and he still managed to stay with Crawford for the majority of the fight.
I feel like Madrimov will have more in the Tank against Ortiz because of this reason, plus Madrimov will most likely put some good body work in of his own as Ortiz will try to stand in front of him to land short shots whereas Crawford landed long powerful counters.
Theres always the chance a short left hook counter might hurt Madrimov though.
Yeah its a bit a gamble but I feel if Vergil is to win he gotta stop him and he will go for it so I thought why not gotta be in it to win it.
Kabayel is faster and moves better than Zhang. I feel he'll get inside whenever he wants. He just has to be smart. He'd do well from the outside too and he'd really be able to see Zhangs punches. I have a feeling Zhang gets exposed. Zhang def has a chance but Kabayel is looking to make a huge statement. If he can beat the Great Wall in fashion, he becomes a big player in the HW division.
Zhang has beaten slow as molasses Joyce and the punch drunk punching bag that is Wilder. Other than that he doesn't have a huge W on his ledger imo. Parker beat him cause he was busier. Imo Kabayel can do the same, but Kabayel has a bigger punch.

This is a good take.
I haven't seen much of Madrimov, but he was very measured against Crawford. I felt he couldve increased the output and done better. I dont know if his shortcoming in 11 and 12 was an actual fade or just Crawford turning it up and Madrimov being too careful.
He may Fight differently against Ortiz, but my main question is whether he'll turn it up a notch this time. He ought to add a little Bohachuk this time around, which Ortiz couldn't handle, even tho fans posing as judges gave him the gift.
I feel that skill wise Madrimov is double the fighter Bohachuck is and thats why it was an easy decision for me to pick him over Ortiz,I'm not stupid though as styles make fights and anything is possible.
I took Vergil to pick up 2k on a KO, and a saver gets 500 on Ortiz winning by any means, if he KOs him thats the win picking up 2.5k.
I watched the TC fight again I feel Vergils aggression will get it done, Madrimov did way more fainting and jitter without throwing or stepping in and TC was trying to entice him to throw for counters, Vergil puts out a lot of pressure and I think that makes a big difference, we going to see some depth with these two somebody got to break.

Do you think Kabayel gets inside on Zhang or tries to box on the outside?

Ortiz.
I think it could be and likely will be a very rough start for him but I do not see Madrimov staying with him down the stretch. Ortiz rallying late to a decision or possibly a late stoppage. Madrimov for all his athletic qualities, speed, explosiveness fights very measured, low output and fades in every fight even at a snails pace.
I think if Crawford picked up the pace a little earlier he'd have won handily. I see Ortiz pace, intensity and body-punching being too much.
This might sound an overreaction but genuinely I think MW right now maybe the weakest division I can recall seeing.
Eubank Jr, 400yr old Lara, Surace, Zerafa, Volny, I do not see any actual world class fighters.
Nothing in the entire division let alone Adames lol.
Its full of Euro & domestic level operators but they're supposedly world class (someone has to be world ranked) as there is nobody actually any good in the division if that makes sense.
Prime Lara, GGG, Canelo, Martinez etc have just left a huge void.
To answer your question I see nothing in Adames that stands out but I feel Sheeraz is so flawed that anyone who doesn't stand in front of him or come at him in straight lines will have success however he's just so huge (I read he walks around at 210) I figure he'll overcome them all. I'm also convinced his chin is very questionable.
I wouldn't pick against him currently purely cause he is so big & hits too hard for these very small and frankly not very good MWs.
I think if there was anyone actually decent at MW they'd have a field day with Sheeraz despite giving up so much size.
Any thoughts on Ortiz vs Madrimov?
What do you see in Adames? He's beaten no one and looks pretty rubbish to me :dunno: Nothing he does impresses me.
