I'd like to see it.
AJ has a terrible chin, and Fury punch resistance has gotten worse and worse to the point he got floored by an arm punch off Ngannou and got punched about by Usyk. As for Dubois he was down 3* vs Larena and I think Usyk toyed with him and could have sparked him if he felt like it.
They all suffered from the curse of the British chin, between the 3 of them I count 19 times they've been knocked down by opponents other than Usyk
All 3 of them he was able to clip on the chin and keep them honest, but what happens when he faces a durable big man who doesn't blink when Usyk lands a big shot?
It'd be interesting to see Usyk face a heavyweight with a good chin who wouldn't be afraid of getting hit and would mix it up with Usyk punch for punch.
Parker or the big bang would be good options, I'd say Bakole but he quit vs hunter so he'd probably quit vs Usyk as well.
Agit Kabayel is a wildcard as well.
Parkers chin has gone. Goes down with a touch.
Bakole is the boogie man now. Nobody wants to go near this guy.
On paper, Usyk beats him though, but we've heard the sparring stories, Bakole may be for real.
I like Bakole but he's so slow. I'll never be the guy to say a champion shouldn't fight a contender because I'm sure they'd beat them (that was Fury's method of winning without fighting) but Bakole hasn't earned that quite yet.
Styles make fights and I'm struggling to see who has the style to make Usyk uncomfortable. I'm resisting the urge to think it might well be a revitalised Dubois given he's recently been in with him, but I feel like it will take a hard hitting, aggressive, pressure fighter with good stamina. Dubois, at the level he showed with AJ, might be the closest we have.
That's why usyk needs a bit more depth to resume. You can't say usyk best fury and Josh so nothing left to prove.
Best iron chin zhang, bakole, and parker and ajit then usyk is top 3 heavyweight
