Respect you too mate, no malice here.
But right is right and wrong is wrong. If Devin Haney said that then he is wrong, or at best misinformed.
We know the facts, he failed two VADA tests. Not four, two. That's an objective fact.
He certainly would have been tested by the NYSAC. But he didn't fail a test with them, if he did, we'd know.
These are facts of the matter. No hard feelings here either. We all good. It was a just minor misunderstanding that’s all. I agree. Haney did exaggerate the total amount of tests Ryan Garcia failed and that’s a fact.
Hamza, I have always respected your boxing acumen. I have always regarded you as one of the most knowledgeable and respected posters on NSB.
So please don’t start disgracing and dishonouring yourself now..You know that it has always been protocol for every fighter to submit samples of their specimen to the governing bodies following their bouts for a urinalysis.
I have no reason to lie about this. This was stated by Devin Haney himself. You don’t have to take my word for it; look it up by YouTubing it yourself.
I can’t state with moral certainty whether or not the two fighters were ever tested by the commission because I wasn’t there and neither was you.
All I am saying is what Devin Haney said. He was the one who invented the five failed drug test theory not me.
Respect you too mate, no malice here.

That is a death senteance to the sport.
Exactly but yet so many so called boxing fans siding with Haney is ridiculous
Fighters are going to be asking for guarantees or something to that nature to even get in the ring when there could be a lawsuit against you
A question NO ROID RAGER wants to ask
Hey, Google......
Why are steroids banned in boxing ?!?
"Steroids have many harmful effects on an athlete's body. The body uses various hormones to control metabolic activities. In children and adolescents, steroids can lead to early stoppage of bone growth resulting in growth retardation which is irreversible. Steroids can increase the risk of tendon and muscle injury."
(Children and adolescents ?!?!?!)
So, it's more harmful to the taker ?!?!?
Umm, boxing even without roids is dangerous to the taker.
Let's delve further :)

Again, cries about harmful effects ON THE USER !!!!!
On line with my opinion -
Rethinking boxing's PEDs conundrum
https://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/id/9128066/rethinking-boxing-peds-problem-solutions
"I think that PEDs use significantly contributes to the increased risks of brain injury in fighters," Dr. Goodman said. "I am hoping this will be proven one day -- soon."
Soooooooo, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING CONCLUSIVE :fing02:
Moving on.......
Hey, Google.......
What advantages do steroids have in an actual boxing match ?!?
"Anabolic steroids help build muscle tissue and increase body mass by acting like the body's natural male hormone, testosterone. However, steroids cannot improve an athlete's agility or skill. Many factors determine athletic ability, including genetics, body size, age, sex, diet and how hard the athlete trains."

Why Some Athletes Abuse Anabolic Steroids -
Believing that anabolic steroids can improve competitiveness and performance, uninformed or misguided athletes, sometimes encouraged by coaches or parents, abuse these drugs to build lean muscle mass, promote aggressiveness, and increase body weight.
(Not boxing specific, doe :lol1: )
Nothing scientific as far as the web can see.....
And yet, MFers want to shake their fists at the sky
He failed two VADA tests; A and B sample both positive (Like 99.99999999% of them will be as it's the same blood sample)
He didn't fail a test undertaken by the NYSAC.
His two VADA tests are what led to his suspension.
There are no other failed tests, you're literally just making them up by pulling them out of thin air.Hamza, I have always respected your boxing acumen. I have always regarded you as one of the most knowledgeable and respected posters on NSB.

Well no literally speaking, it is not a steroid.
But it is a PED.
Not all PED's are Steroids. In fact many of them aren't. I agree. It’s not a steroid..It’s just a banned substance on WADA’s list of performance enhancing drugs.
Well according to a source very close to the situation and in addition, to excluding both Ryan Garcia's two failed B sample tests from VADA; Devin Haney said that Ryan Garcia actually popped dirty and failed a total of three tests.
He failed two VADA tests; A and B sample both positive (Like 99.99999999% of them will be as it's the same blood sample)
Two with VADA and one with the NYSAC. While some jurisdictions do allow for very small trace amounts of ostarine to be found in a fighter's system; However, both WADA, VADA and the NYSAC aren't one of them.
He didn't fail a test undertaken by the NYSAC.
As a matter of fact; It was reported that Ryan Garcia's trace amount levels were 60 times greater than the average trace amount level allowed.
So what that tells me is that it was Ryan Garcia's NYSAC dirty drug test is what led to his suspension.
His two VADA tests are what led to his suspension.
There are no other failed tests, you're literally just making them up by pulling them out of thin air.
Technically speaking, you are absolutely correct. Ostarine is not a steroid. However, it acts as one though. Which is why so many fighters pop dirty for using them. It helps build muscle mass while making one faster and stronger as it cuts body fat in the process
Well no literally speaking, it is not a steroid.
But it is a PED.
Not all PED's are Steroids. In fact many of them aren't.
Oh, well that is pure made up speculation then. You can’t use that to support your argument.
All we know is that he failed two drug tests via VADA.

Still waiting for SCIENTIFIC links to support the ban in BOXING

Stopped at convicted....
Youd make a terrible prosecutor.
No offense
stay below 25
And avoid posts 262 and 263 :fing02:
What people don't seem to consider is not what Ryan did but rather is Haney coming to court with clean hands? You can give him a pass for his rehydration because it's technically legal. But when Haney allowed the fight to continue he only did so because he thought Ryan would be a cinch to beat.
He allowed the fight to continue, and there was no obvious discrepancy because despite Ryan's weight the weight difference was negligible. Therefore any reasonable person could assume such a risk out of greed or otherwise was not unreasonable. Ryan was not 200 lb in full of muscles raging... And Devin was not caught in a bad decision that was obviously not reasonable.
The fact that he did not know about the Osterine becomes a minor detail and nothing more. He assumed the risk and he did not have to do so. The physical aspects of the risk do not demonstrate that Haneys choice was unreasonable... Haney was aware enough of the risk when he decided to let the fight continue.
If a person goes over 25 MPH, that driver is guilty of speeding !
Imagine that
35 mph is speeding :lol1: !
It's a bannable "offense" with nothing to back it up with.,
Give it a try :lol1: !
Again, your ethe prosecutor.....
