Joe Joyce has lost three of his last four - and didn't look great in that one victory - but the 39-year-old heavyweight says the plan isn't to retire, but rather to return to the ring.

Why are there two of the exact same threads for this? seems to be a common thing recently.
The state of boxing: I’m sure this bum has made enough to sustain him!
That "bum" beat Parker and Dubois....
Joe Joyce would be a good name for Richard Torres Jr rn
I wouldn't mind this at all. He would absolutely give Kiki the rounds he desperately needs, no doubt.
is he a bum ? did he not give it his all ? Maybe the bum is the way Boxing carries itself and not so much this fighter Admitted he is not a guy i choose to watch every time he came out but he is a draw and he does have boxing skills even if it using his skull to wear fighters down. Just saying there are bums out there i am sure but he a bum ? Me personally i have always enjoyed a fighter who is not affaid to get hit to get a few of his in to the guy in the ring. Rather see that to watch some dancing fools ..........but that is me.
He's clearly not a bum. Some people here just have no respect for the sport or the fighters.
Crazy thing is. He could beat a few heavyweights off the top of head. One being Jared Anderson.
U crazy as hell too! Jared will school him, then I'll send your ignorant aSs back to class.
Don’t enjoy watching Joyce take bombs off of other heavyweights, uncomfortable fights to sit through.
There’s journeymen who will have 2 or 3 times longer the career and much less damage taken. Joyce just can’t defend himself. He must’ve made ok enough money to start a business with it, he’s still young and doesn’t need to sacrifice his health for a few more bob.

Give him to Bakole. Win-Win for both. Bakole doesn't have anyone of note on his resume unless you count (and I wouldn't) Anderson. Meanwhile, if Joyce beats him he's back in the mix. Not saying Joyce is a world beater but he's a great name for an up-and-coming fighter Interim World Title Challenger.
Bakole would be sent to prison for murder if he fights the current version of Joyce. Besides his power, Bakole is also extremely quick. He'd hit Joyce with five or six punches before Joyce finishes licking the stamp for the one punch he'd try to snail mail.

Watching recent interviews and comparing them to his old interviews. He seems much slower, just in the way he speaks. It looks like his brain is in slow motion. Maybe he's just having a few bad days and I'm reading it wrong. But I think the constant blows to the head have caught up with him. Even so, he's far too dangerous for Frank to throw in Moses Itauma or Fabio Wardley against him. Queensbury wouldn't risk those guys against a live body just yet. Especially Itauma. He's going to enjoy some more soft matchmaking before he faces a real challenge sometime in late 2025.
