His single-punch power appears to be above average for his division, but his stoppages normally occur due to his suffocating pace. What makes him elite is his combo punching and stamina. Some fighters are better equipped to challenge him, but many others will have an uphill battle. Assuming he moves up, I think Espinoza will be Nava's most formidable opponent. A guy like Foster will have issues vs. Nava because he doesn't throw enough, but he does have the reach to make it interesting.
Nahhhhh Foster will fall
And more importante: his power.
His power in 130 is very dangerous.
And he was a 122 champ, more of 135 can fight easily in 140 and dome guys in 147.
Navarrete i think he can clean the 130.

O'Shaquie "Shock" Foster vs Emmanuel "Vaquero" Navarrete probably is the biggest fight at 130 as of now.
Navarrete is difficult to box through the whole bout seen as he has caught stylists like Coincecao and Berinchyk with some big shots. So this will likely would be an exciting bout, whoever wins or losses.
I think his awkwardness wins him that fight
Foster seems to get distracted easily
Conceicao is awkward and he had problems
Nova who I find awkward also and he had problems
130 in general has been lacking in unifications for so long, they certainly can use some top dog guy to run it.

It's hard to reach any conclusions about his conditioning because his physique typically looks like it did tonight. What I will say is that he'll need to be tip-top condition to beat Espinoza.
I thought he liked very good at weigh in and even better tonight

Well not sure if you saw his post fight interview
He just stated he’ll be moving up after his next two fights
Navarrete is wild but he has solid skills and good head movement and bending.
He needs to fight in 130, thats his límit.
Good career, 3 division champ, very fun to watch.
He has experience.
He fought against 4 amateur stars, Valdés, dogboe, conceicao and the ucranian guy.
Those fights were very hard fights for the amateurs.
His style is proven in the elite.
I agree, it's not only that his reach is less of a advtange at 135 but his gas tank (work rate) is not the same if he isn't performing at his optimal weight.
Plus Top Rank holds most of the top super Featherweight contenders.

Yeah I agree with that
Hoping he doesn’t kill himself making weight
Did you think he looked pudgy ???
I thought it was typical Navarrete

His last two less than impressive fights prior to this made me wonder if the luster was starting to peel off, but tonight certainly renewed some excitement.
Knowing his strength and limitations now and likely not going to attempt a 4th division, hopefully he goes for unifications now.
He found his limit at 135 because his reach advantage gets nullified up there. He needs to stay at 130.

Navarrete can throw efficiently at any range, at any angle. He is awkward to handle with those long arms.
Doesn't help that his defense is also a bit underrated, he does make sure to not get caught when he can.

I thought it was typical Navarrete
...especially against short-armed sluggers like Dogboe and Valdez. He just picks them apart with his long-range combination punching.
It’s crazy but admiring
The writing looked on the wall for a few rounds anyway
As soon as the fifth round was finished, the fight felt 'over'. Valdez seemed to abandon the strategic adjustments that he made, and he reverted back to old habits that got his face ruined in the first fight.
