We have more technology to work muscles more information to achieve certain athletic goals if we have the predisposition to reach those levels, however we still haven’t seen a Boxer close to athleticism Roy Jones had in the last 7 years ? Why is this ?

Ugh, I think you're just arguing to be arguing, bro.
No, you just don't understand what's being said because you don't understand this topic.
This isn't the first time this has happened with you and undoubtedly won't be last.
I strongly suggest further revision before commenting on this kind of topic in future.
Right....but without PED's these athletes are not freaks of nature.
They are genetically gifted, but that's different. And it's the PED's that are making them as freakish as they are.
Hence, the PED's making them "freaks of nature" Or i.e unnaturally freakish for the likes of Jones, Brock Lesnar and those type of overtly freakish athletes.
You've laughably attempted to claim PED's don't make someone a freak of nature when that is QUITE LITERALLY exactly what they do. How freakish will entirely depend on the athlete's genetic capabilities but it still doesn't change the fact that that is literally the epitome of the purpose that they serve.
How you are lost on this, I don't even know. But like I said before, you don't have the first clue on this topic and you've made that clear well before this thread.

It's your problem is that you can't seem to understand that if PEDs make you a "freak of nature", then you're not a "freak of nature"
The phrase "freak of nature" inherently implies that it comes from nature itself, which is why like I've said 1000x, that no matter how many PEDs you give people, 99.9% of them won't be like Jones or Lesnar or LeBron, because what they have has to inherently come from NATURE, hence the term "FREAK OF NATURE"

Why would I do that? If you can't understand such an incredibly basic concept, that is not my problem. That is your problem.
You said PED's don't make you a freak of nature, when, that is EXACTLY what they do.
Of course, they don't make everyone a freak of nature, you need to meet a basic genetic requirement first for that but that doesn't change the fact that is the literal epitome of what they do to the likes of a Roy Jones Jr.
You are totally clueless and I recommend further revision on this topic before commenting on it again and making a total fool out of yourself.

you could buy andro at GNC back then. who cares. EVERYONE is on PEDS
Doesn't change the fact that he tested positive for a banned substance. 5 or 6 times over an acceptable level at that.
Roy Jones Jr. and Richard Hall both tested positive for the testosterone precursor androstenedione after Jones defeated Hall to retain his undisputed world light heavyweight championship in Indianapolis in 2000. Jones insisted his test was the result of ingesting the supplement Ripped Fuel. - ESPN
Indiana Boxing Commissioner Jacob Hall admitted that Jones had tested "five or six times over an acceptable level".

Someone has to be the best. Roy is the best.
The future also doesnt mean more athleticism. what has really changed since the 90s? its not THAT long ago.
besides look at something like sprinting or swimming, its been 10+ years since a lot of those records were set.they have harder PED testing than then now too which is probably the real reason those events peaked around 2010
PED's don't automatically make you a freak of nature, you need to have the receptive genetics to go with the assistance
You couldve just stopped here, bro.
Then, again, why haven't we seen another Roy Jones or Jon Jones if PEDs is what made them freaks of nature?
Millions of people have access to PEDs, still only a few freaks of nature
Can you read mate? What part aren't you getting?
Because Roy Jones is already gifted genetically, so when you ADD the assistance of PED's, that will make someone of that description a freak of nature.
PED's don't automatically make you a freak of nature, you need to have the receptive genetics to go with the assistance but your statement of "PED's don't make you a freak of nature" is FALSE. That is the epitome of that they do, they assist your performance beyond your natural capability.
Quite literally what it does.
Obviously you need the genetic make up to attain that but it's still exactly the purpose of the PEDs.

"Athletic" is a broad term and why are we only going back 7 years? Lomachenko was/is certainly an athletic boxer who demonstrated amazing reflexes, quickness, angles and footwork at his best. So far as we know he isn't using steroids either like Roy.
Was Roy truly bust for PEDs? I wasn't watching boxing when he was in his prime so I never followed him until the tail end of his career. My first live fight with him was watching Glen Johnson maul him.
That said, if he was on PEDs, I feel like will make someone that already has great genetics and talent, that much better, especially when it comes to the reflects and fast twitch muscles. From the highlight clips I've seen of Roy in his prime, he was quite unique.

Watch his early fights pre Hopkins and you should be able to formulate your own opinion.
I would say Boots is probably the closest thing, athletically, but not as talented obviously.
Give him some PEDs like Roy and who knows.

Wrong. The NFL takes the best Football players, not the best fighters.
The NBA takes the best Basketball players, not the best fighters.
....and only a few of them, in fact.
What "Great athleticism" is, differs widely by sport; lest we have Sumo Wrestlers dominaing in Tennis.
And the UFC ?????
Heck no. Not ever!!!!
NOBODY who has the ingredients to make it in boxing would EVER bother with the much lower wages and respect offered by MMA.
That would be akin to getting a law or medical degree so that you can get a job sweeping the floor.
Check your logic there.
I do believe boxers are the better athletes over MMArtists but at this point, UFC makes a lot more upper middle class fighters than boxing and I'd argue the average UFC fighter is more popular than the average boxer.
I wouldn't be surprised if we start seeing more amatuer boxers transfer to MMA.
Roy Jones was perhaps the best athlete I've ever seen. Definitely the best athlete fighter(Boxing, MMA, etc). You just don't get guys like that very often, even once a generation.
Then, it doesn't make you a freak of nature
