I scored it 115-113 Bivol or draw at worst. I didn't mind Beterbiev winning as it was a CLOSE fight but no fcuking way was it 116-112 boxingscene would say the dont know F all about boxing lolIt don't matter as bivol getting rematch.Artur got a gift not a robbery
Gift is when someone at max fought to a draw and gets the decision anyways
This fight was a harsh lesson for all pure boxers
judges and fans despise fighters who take their foot off of the gas pedal in the final rounds after building up a lead
Bivol will need to intelligently pace himself in the rematch
Switch to the Long Guard at long range because it’s better for controlling distance. Fence with the lead hand to stuff Artur’s offense
Juggle between the Soviet Step and lateral movement. Be hard to time and untouchable by alternating between bouncing linearly and moving sideways
Clinch because Bivol was getting the better of Artur in the clinches. Biv is stronger than we thought and pushed Artur’s head down in round 12 with a clinch
initiating clinches and banging away on the ribcage looks dominant compared to moving with minimal return fire
Throw on the inside specifically the left hook rather than passively wait with the high guard. Art be open for the left hook. Bivol can fight with higher confidence in the rematch. Fight 1 proved that Bivol can take a good shot from Artur.
Artur will need to make round 1 of fight 2 feel like round 13 of fight 1. Start fast use the jab, feints, different looks, and attack the body early
if Artur can tire Bivol with a body assault in the 1st 4 rounds, he can setup clean overhands upstairs onwards. Bivol had the energy to defend and prevent clean overhands in fight 1
anyways an immediate rematch is the best fight for boxing
both will come in with greater confidence than fight 1.
Bivol implied that he believes he won and still has the self-belief of an undefeated boxer.
Artur has been brainwashed into believing he won match 1
they’re coming in with a score to settle this time:cool:
