Jack won but Jesus he’s frustrating to watch
Yeah
He's actually pretty good when he puts his shots together. I think he can crack a little bit too when he wants to commit but rarely does.
I get it, it's boxing and the aim is to win and he'll win on the cards but I'd like to see a bit more spite at times. I think that'll come back to bite him when it's a close fight on the cards in future and he doesn't quite assert himself enough.
Regis is still a one-handed fighter, seemingly. He keeps overshooting that left hand and it’s draining him as the fight progresses.
It's clear that Prograis doesn't have the necessary feet and reach for the high-level movers. Prograis felt compelled to overshoot in order to compensate for Gato's propensity to step out of range. Prograis vs. Matias is still one of the best 140lb match-ups to make, even-though there's no title on the line: boxer-puncher vs. pressure fighter. Both have a similar "get-back" mentality when they get hit too, so it probably won't be a boring fight.
Prograis hasn't lost much but Catteral is so cautious and had a nice reach advantage. Regis looked determined but he looked a bit small in there against Catteral.
He threw to himself at the floor twice at the end of the round, don't think he has the conditioning to go further than 6 rounds and he seems vulnerable to even non-punchers.
Has staying in the same weight category for 12 years taking it's toll on him?
Prograis looking determined and unskilled. Way too inaccurate. His twitchy moves kept Catteral low volume, though Catteral is always pretty low volume. Regis has terrible balance.
Why don't they ever fix the slippery Advertisement logos? Fighters are always slipping on them.
Catterall is so frustrating. I think he's a fighter with untapped potential, but his out-boxer style allows him to play it safe. He's not a "can't miss" fighter for me.
Even-though Prograis lost, I still want to see him vs. Matias. Their styles and temperament mesh very well.
Down again to close the round. Regis didn’t even try to hold he just kept coming forward and missing that left hand. This couldn;t have happened at all worse time because he was already fading after round 7.
