For the life of me I can’t understand how this became about Mayweather vs Pacquiao. This was supposed to be a discussion about Mayweather moving up to fight Beterbiev…. Smh…
Any thread that goes long enough will eventually become about Mayweather/Pacquao.

Who makes THAT argument? :lol1:
Pac landed the far cleaner punches in the fight. The gulf in quality was vast. Floyd was struggling to land anything clean starting in round 3. Grazing shots, touches, and push offs were about it. Pac rocking Floyd's head around with hard shots. I've watched it in detail and playback shows pac landing the better punches in not only quality but quantity in 7 rounds, Floyd 3 and 2 very close in quantity and quality.
It was certainly a bad decision if you watch it again, but people just didn't like the way pac fought and expected more. They knew Floyd would fight safety first so they just assumed he was winning since it was slow paced, but he wasn't. The beauty of low standards. The commentary was terrible as well and probably influenced a lot of people into thinking Floyd wasxdoing better than he actually was, and when you combine that with the onus being on pac to do something special and overwhelm Floyd, you get the guy who didn't actually land thr better punches winning.
But pac doing it in lower weights obviously took.more out of pac, so by the time floyd got pac, pac was not the same of course.
Doing it in 7 divisions is harder than 4 or 5 divisions
Pac had no real opps at the lower weights :lol1:
If there was money to be made down there, he would have stayed.
Miguel cotto said floyd ducked pac for 6 years as floyd knew pac would ko him
You said he arguably beat Floyd. What does Cotto saying that have anything to do with the fact it was a clear 9-3 fight?
You make no sense, he started at a smaller weight doesnt mean anything other than he started at a smaller weight and they finished up in the same weight classes. , people grow at different rates, Floyd cant shrink when his boxing career started youre notions are bordering crazy, Floyd did what he did and Manny did what he did when it was all over Floyd out performed Manny thats what the history books recorded you need to accept reality instead of staying in fantasy land.

I saw a recent comment on YouTube where the poster claimed that Mayweather would “100%” beat Beterbiev.
what do you think?
Thats nothing, I would beat Beterbiev. Start a topic on me now. Some real geniuses on here.
So pac did real good in the lower weights that Floyd didn't do. Might show pac took more risks, and more ambitious if floyd could do anything pac could, but chose not to and didnt.

Pac as a former light flyweight arguably best floyd. If pac was naturally Floyd's size, at 5ft 8inch, I can't see floyd hearing final bell
Who makes THAT argument? :lol1:
If Manny was as tall as Floyd he would weigh a lot more than Floyd did, its all relative your little Manny is no so little, weight at a certain build is what it is.

Never seen this before, probably the greatest match ever. This scrap solidifies Floyd's Greatest of All Time status!
They’re around the same size any way. Pacquaio was about 16 at Flyweight just like Floyd was at 16.
All through their careers at their respective weight classes they’ve rehydrated around the same and maxed out at 147 where they both walk around at 150 range.
this. that other guy is a retard. they were the same size as teenagers and as adults they maxed out at welterweight where they both didnt have to rehydrate but a few pounds at that weight. everyone else at welter even guys who fought at 135-140 were still rehydrating 10 or more pounds at welter. well everyone except JMM.
P4P speaking Mayweather would have beat the snot out of him. He literally looked liked a straight forward zombie in spots against Bivol last week. Imagine what Prime Pretty Boy would have done to him.
- - Been granted a TUE backdated 2weeks in advance to ducking Beter or most anyone in his day.
Shame that Logan Paul had to beat him up so bad.
Oh wow this is huge news. A rando on Youtube said something crazy. Why isn’t Dan Rafael covering this? ESPN? The Washington Post? Why isn’t this leading every local and national newscast? This is INSANE!!!
