The fight didn't go the way a lot of people thought one way or the other

But it was the type of the fight I expected. A chess match. Who expected slug fest there, was on the wrong fight.

I knew this was going distance. May have picked the right guy, too (Biv). Have to wait to see it.

they both were more cautious than i expected. i predicted beterbiev KO. the only thing i really got right in my write up that shown was beterbievs stamina and most people underrating or overlooking it. i pointed out hes always been the fresher guy at the end and is dangerous at the end. that part was still true. if beter got an earlier start and wore down bivol he could have gotten the stoppage. its hard to tell how hurt bivol was. there were times when he covered up not throwing for a long time. he was atleast a little hurt but he didnt look wobbled.

Bivol didn't "school Beterbiev" and Beterbiev didn't knock Bivol out. Bivol's beard was my biggest question mark before the fight and it's a good one. People acting like a guy with Arthur's pedigree couldn't hang with Bivol's boxing skills was the dumbest **** in the lead up. I thought Bivol won and I thought Beterbiev was going to win in KO fashion. I don't think Bivol wins in a rematch. He looks like he was in survival mode the last two rounds.

Basically a lite version of what we expected. Beterbiev was the puncher, Bivol was the slick boxer. But both were very high level. We saw what we expected, except Bivol didn't school him. And Beterbiev didn't really damage him. I'm not sure what we learnt about Bivol's chin. He never got caught clean. We may not ever really need to learn about Bivol's chin. He's defensively too sound for it to be an issue very often.
