There was definetely an agenda on the dazn commentators. Beterbiev was landing a lot of subtle jabs and body shots that the commentators didn't even mention. At the end of the day the soviet school of boxing won regardless of who won. I remember texting a buddy how bad the DAZN commentary was when in the 4th round they said "I'm surprised Beterbiev hasn't thrown any shots to the body, even jabs" when Beterbiev had landed probably 5-6 jabs to the body at that point.

I agree. I thought Beterbiev was the clear winner. People are giving Bivol points for flurrying and running, all the while discounting the many moments that he was getting beat up. I had 8-4 Beterbiev. So that's 116-112 for me. I could see 115-113 Beterbiev at the lowest. In a rematch Bivol would get beat up even worse. He didn't hurt Artur one time. Bivol was hurt to the body a few times. I think he'd get stalked and stopped. Would also be more time removed from his surgery. I agree. I thought Beterbiev was the clear winner. Draw for me but if you give the 7th to Beterbiev instead of Bivol, 7-5 Beterbiev. I didn't really see Bivol winning it

I don't have an issue with 7-5 either way. I just don't want to hear robbery. Watching the bivol interview even he dosen't think it was a robbery and it was close. Same I scored it 6-6 but can easily see how a person could score it for either guy. Tbh bivol was getting walked down for most of the mid to late rounds it just looked like Beterbiev was winning by the end of the fight.

I dont disagree with this, but at the same time Im not sure how I feel about a 39 year old fighter throwing over 1,000 punches, even if a lot of them were arm / single paced....

I just honestly don't see how anybody could have beterbiev winning he was barely throwing and when he did the majority of punches was hitting gloves. Barely throwing but threw 200 more punches than Bivol?

Naw. He was landing clean in between bivol's guard and also hurt bivol to the body many times causing bivol to back up. Bivol's eye is almost shut on the left side. Round 3 he had bivol hurt but the announcers were saying bivol won when he clearly lost that round. Bivol's flurries were blocked well. Bivol was hurt in the 7th round (I think) as well.

Idk in rd 12 i think aesthetically Beterbiev looked better walking down Bivol but idk if he landed anything solid other than the gloves. Bivol had great flurries that round landed more clear.
