“Against Beterbiev, he’s not going to give him the opportunity to cross that finish line. Beterbiev would rather get knocked out in a great fight than lose a competitive decision. That’s why I think he’s going to get stopped; he’s going to run into something big by Bivol."

Some interesting odds, let's you make some money on a hedge
Beterbiev by TKO at +275
Bivol by Split Decision +700
unless you think Bivol will win a UD (I don't), or Beterbiev will win a UD or straight KO (I don't), this could be a safe hedge (Draft Kings)
Only problem with your statement is this is Beterbiev territory ...
I have no problem comceding that. In the end, just hoping for a good fight and clear outcome!
Is there a rematch clause?
Im liking the co main and undercard too.
yeah, i think Beterbiev gonna try to blitz Bivol before Dmitry gets too comefortable..if Bivol can neutralize the attack and land some hard counters hes gonna go all out and make a statement. The question is can he maintain his composure cause we know Beterbiev is coming in hot

To be fair, we don't know much about Bivol's recovery because he's never been dropped. And he's younger. So there's not much evidence in support of that assertion.I had all of Bivol's tough spots in my memory prior to the Canelo fight, but now I'm struggling to remember. Bivol fans please add or disagree if I'm wrong on these,
Buckled against Joe Smith in the 11th? Rallied hard in the 12th round to almost stop Smith.
Potentially buckled by an overhand right in the first round against Salamov (he may have just lost his footing). No ill effects, won every round.
I have to rewatch it, but I think Sullivan Barrera got his attention in toward the last part of the fight even though he was losing most rounds. Bivol rallied in the 12th to stop him.
We seen him separate gears against a Canelo - hat tip to Tood Grisham with one of his better calls on the "look at Dmitry Bivol go!!!" sequence. But that was Canelo who is often taking rests in various stages of a fight.
Both of these guys are very freaky in their own way - as much of an athletic freak i think Bivol is, one sledgehammer and all that can get mitigated.the most important shot that hurt Bivol was Smith’s overhand in round 4 about 1 minute into the round
Biv’s legs jolted
Biv clinched immediately to stuff a follow up
I don’t think neither are iron chin based on what I seen
But Biv knowing how to clinch when hurt makes him that much harder to stop
The infamous Smith overhand at the end bell of the 10th round is the punch everyone talks about
that shot also jolted Biv’s legs. Biv spent the first minute to 1:30 minutes of the next round the 11th collecting himself. Plus the minute in the corner before the round

Sounds accurate to me. I'm stoked to watch it. Has a similar feel in reverse to Tank v Loma.

Bet impresses me with how calm and patient he is in the ring
He doesn’t mess the finish up by rushing things
Biv could have the better chin, but Bet has the better recovery from what I seen
Yarde would hurt Bet. Bet would remain cool box on the back foot and spring a trap counter for Yarde

Beterbiev is pretty methodical. I don't think he goes all out guns blazing ever. But he might get pissed off in the fight and go into another gear, and Bivol pretty much just cruises. Nobody has been good enough to take him out of his main gear yet, and he's got a pretty high work rate in that gear...Bet impresses me with how calm and patient he is in the ring

That's how you know it's fight week for a true 50/50.
I think Bivol takes it, but that power and the method of delivery is a great equalizer. And I could see Artur doing what he did vs Browne and turning it up all of a sudden, and the tempo change might have a big effect. There's probably never been a better time to bet on Beterbiev though. Gonna be such a great fight.

Ive said Bivol since it was announced. But starting to have doubts

i really dont know how this one goes ive changed my mind several times
at the moment i think bivol will be way up on points but beterbiev will get the knockout late
but no real confidence in that prediction really cant wait for the fight though
“I think it’s a 50-50 fight. Can Beterbiev breakdown Bivol in the second half of the fight? Yes, it’s possible but I believe Bivol is able to control range and outbox him to a 12-round close unanimous decision win.”

I expect Bivol Dec > Beterbiev KO > Beterbiev Dec > Bivol KO in that order, but if I were to bet then I'd go for Beterbiev KO because that will likely be the best combination of odds vs payout.
