Madrimov’s stock went up massively after his performance vs Bud. Boots supposedly wants the Crawford fight. Both need a dance partner. Both are with Matchroom/DAZN. Why not?
Being a champion doesn't mean what it used to, especially when you consider how people win. Yes, Madrimov put up a good fight but he won a vacant belt fighting a c level fighter. Oh, and he only had 10 professional fights. So, it doesn't really hold much value. I mean Rolly was even a champion at one point lol
You're comparing Madrimov, who people are avoiding like the plague to Rolly, who literally EVERYBODY wants to get a cheap pay day off of?
Madrimov had a belt though. Boots has nothing for Bud.
You could say the exact same about Berlanga fighting Canelo. Younger, fresher, bigger, athletic, power etc.
Sure but Berlanga has consistently looked like ass against c level guys, even going 12 with that Irish bum.
Yeah, I think people would be intrigued by the match up. Nothing Bud will ever be in would be a massive fight aside from a Canelo fight. He appeals to hardcores but as far as that goes I think people would be into the Boots fight. I think if he doesn't retire Tszyu and Ortiz would be bigger fights for him though.
Madrimov did nothing to prove he'd be competitive with Bud but i knew it was a good fight going in. Like Boots he does some things that actually suggest it would be easy for Bud but I think Boots could potentially be competitive as well.
So... being younger, fresher, good speed, athleticism and power? I'm not sure why I'd bother to continue to try to convince you of something when your mind is made up.

You do realise you said Bud vs Boots would be fight people would be intrigued by because it is competitive unlike Bud vs Khan. So I aptly pointed out that Mayweather-McGregor was a massive success despite anybody with a brain knowing it wouldn’t be competitive.
On top of that point, what has Boots actually done to even suggest he would be competitive with Bud?

Technically, it was.
It's the fight that made him a 3 division champion.

I'm saying that McGregor is hilarious to bring up in a thread about a guy needing to prove himself. I didn't mention notoriety but sure, I'm desperate because you don't know how to differentiate. Lol Jesus be consistent with what you're trying to say at least.

Are you actually trying to compare Boots’ notoriety to McGregor’s? :lol1:
You’re becoming increasingly desperate here.
Bud is nearly 37 now, he doesn’t have many fights left, I’d much rather see him unify with the other champions than fight some unproven contender. That’s just how I see it.

I asked what questions so if you have some in particular that I wasn't taking serious then lmk?
But since we're asking questions isn't it a little strange that a guy in his prime gotta earn a fight but two guys who had nothing left like Khan and Brook were perfectly acceptability opponents?

One of the biggest selling fights ever was Mayweather-McGregor, do you think people saw that as competitive? Commerciality is king in boxing.
On top of that, what has Boots done to even suggest he would be competitive with Bud? That’s exactly why I’m suggesting he fights Madrimov.
So Conor didn't have to fight nobody at all and that fight still happened? Interesting thing to bring up lol.
Boots might get his ass beat up bad. I have no clue tbh but it would be intriguing to find out.
Mammoth
Keep deflecting.

Keep deflecting and ducking the questions. :lol1:
Which question are you asking about in your " gotta earn a fight with a guy who fought John Molina and Jose Benavidez" thread?
Should have figured not to bother as soon as I saw somebody make something as foolish as a "earn a fight" type thread.
Suggesting two contenders should fight is a bad idea? You can’t answer the questions so run along now.

Bigger fight is different. Bud vs Boots would generate more interest because it would be a match up people would be intrigued by. Nobody saw Bud vs the corpse of Amir Khan as competitive. C'mon now.

In his hometown. Who outside of hardcore boxing fans really know who Boots is? To suggest he’s a bigger name than Porter or Khan is laughable.

He did a hell of a gate last time out for nobody knowing who he is. Beating nobody of note means what? He just beat Ava. Bud wasn't too good to fight him.

Nobody knows who Ennis is. He hasn’t beaten anybody of note. Yet you’re absurdly claiming it’ll be Crawford’s second biggest fight. Wild.
