Guido has definitely improved, massive win for him. I'd like to see Guido get a rematch with Jonathan Rice, he was on his way to winning that fight before the cut, give him a chance at righting that.
Makhmudov looked worse than ever, I think it might be time for Eye of the Tiger to finally put him in with Simon Kean, that's still a big fight in French Canada. Winner gets Tony Yoka :boxing:
Kean retired a few months back but this is boxing if the money is right I suspect Kean would take the bout. If there is someone who looks worse than Mak at this point it's Yoka....
fighters of the era of 2010-2020 are done and gone, Korobov, Golovkin, Derev, soon Beter, Usyk and Loma
All very good & great fighters you listed, but do you only acknowledge Russian & Ukraine fighters ?
Bradley gobbling Mbilli's hog. He couldn't take out a one-armed 38 year old man who has been through WARS. Shut up, Tim. Just shut the **** up.
39 in fact. This is one of these fights where you know the man who lost is actually the better fighter, who can't win because there are too many things going against him, in this case the injury and the age.
Mbilli is solid and he's gonna be in fun fights, but Derev is the superior technician and a good scrapper in his own right.
Such bad luck for Derev and so early in the fight too. Mbilli was his usual self, he did his job. He's not that good but it's gonna take a very good fighter to beat him.
Bradley was awful as usual. You could tell how bad the commentators wanted the stoppage to be able to sell Mbilli as the only man to stop Derev. Mbilli didn’t deserve a stoppage and Derev didn’t deserve to be stopped.
I was thinking that too. They wanted to say Mbilli was the guy to do it.
I think the trainer shouldve stopped at the end of the 10th. But when he put him back in I was just hoping he could stay on his feet. Getting stopped while one-armed wouldn't have been justice for a guy who never got stopped with two.
I was more impressed by the old, smaller, one-armed Derevenchenko than the younger, fresh, bigger Mbilli.
Derevychenko is the much greater fighter historically of the two at this point in time. Mbilli will have to do a lot more get to get to Chenko's level. Bradley is hoping we all forget the size, age and injury differential between these two guys. I don't think Mbilli will end up being a higely successful fighter....Maybe, but he has a lot to improve.

There are only 2 opponents I want to see Mbilli against next, Munguia or Sadjo. Both of those are absolute wars that puts Mbilli in legit Canelo contention with a victory. I'd kill to see either of those matchups.
Let's also get an old man tourney going at 168, Avtandil Khurtsidze vs Felix Sturm, winner gets Derevyanchenko, loser goes back to prison :boxing:
Derevyanchenko is a tough customer. Jacobs, GGG, Charlo, Adames, Munguia, and now Mbili without getting stopped. Hopefully he retires, he doesn't need to take more damage. He should've stayed at 160.
Didn't quite hit the levels I hoped (mostly because of the injury) but still a fun fight
Looks like both were injured, though Sergey was worse off with both hands at the end of the fight.
Derrick James: "Can u fight? Can u operate with one arm?..."
I guess he isn't actually watching the fight from his corner. Shouldve stopped it before Derev gets KOd. Better for trainer to stop it than get knocked down as a one arm fighter.
