The 154lb division is only 2-3 fights away from Undisputed. If Crawford/Canelo goes up in smoke, I couldn't care less. I wasn't interested in that fight before or after last Saturday. Actually it's excellent pay-per-view numbers are declining. If pay per view numbers continue to decline the promoters will have no choice but to only put the very best on pay-per-view. Or it might even get rid of pay-per-view all together. The economics of the sport are changing. No one wants to pay pay-per-view for a bogus fight that should be on TV ....or match-ups simply won't happen, like before the Saudis got involved. I don't think PPV is going away, doesn't matter how bad they keep doing. this is the negative to these saudi fights. They dont care if they loose money and the thing is all the other promoters have to make money. but the saudis cannot promote EVERY fight. so then those that dont win the saudi lottery they stand on the sidelines waiting for their big money shot and other fights wont get made.
