7-5 Madrimov Oh my bad! I get it. Your score was probably 115-113 in favor of Israil Madrimov. That was a good score. Many boxing fans had Madrimov wining the fight. I just wasn’t one of them but the fight was close.
Slightly off-topic but in general (and not necessarily directed at those who scored the fight for Israil), I've noticed that there has always been a vocal contingent that just doesn't like Crawford. I'm not sure if it started during the whole Crawford/Spence rivalry before they actually fought or something else...perhaps the Floyd or Canelo comparisons bother some. I'm not entirely sure why Bud generates so much disdain among fans, it's interesting.
I first noticed him shortly before the Briedis Prescott fight. I don't think I ever considered him to be one of my favorite fighters but I definitely respect him and generally have a more favorable opinion of him than negative.
As for the Madrimov fight, it's one of the first times, he didn't dominate his opponent in some manner. He's lost rounds before but usually rallied to emphatically win.
It was close 7-5 is cool with me, bud got the last 2 rounds, its not the first time a great fighter has moved up in weight and looked less impressive. Buds opponent was very good and disciplined, he will be hard for many 154 to beat
I had Madrimov winning by a round but he was simply never getting decision.
It was all geared up for Crawford. Turki is putting money behind him and already planning the fights before this one started, so Madrimov had no chance on the cards. Two judges only gave it to Crawford by one round and if you take into consideration this show was all about Crawford and they could still only give it by a round, it's probably a good indication he didn't really win.
How did you come up with Madrimov winning the fight by a single round? Did you score it 6-5-1 for Madrimov or something?

The judges got it right this time. Two of the judges had Bud winning by two rounds; Seven rounds to five.
Simply put; Terence Crawford won this fight because he wanted it a lot more. While Israil Mafrimov was too busy feinting and fighting in the counter punching mode.
He just didn’t let his hands go enough in order to justify winning this fight.
I always knew this was going to be the hardest fight Bud had in 5 years. That said, i saw the first 10 rounds very close. I leaned toward Bud but the last two rounds Bud took over and hurt Madrimov. He won clearly for me but it wasn't easy like hes use too. Boxing at 147-154 is SOFT. Thats why he looks so great. If their was a prime Floyd, Leonard, Pacquiao, Delahoya, Mosely in the mix TODAY. Bud would be food.
Crawford was the busier, more aggressive and the hungrier of the two. Also, he was able to string a lot of combinations punches together too but Madrimov did not.
As I’ve stated earlier in another thread; This was a very close but decisive victory for Terence Crawford. While Israil fought well; I did not have him winning this fight.
I thought he should have taken more risks but didn’t. His aim was to counter as Crawford outhustled him for the entire fight in order to make it a fight.
While Madrimov landed several lead right hands in the fight; However, they were mostly single counter punches while in the exchanges.
I had Madrimov winning. My score card was 7-5 Madrimov but i have no problem with with 7-5 Crawford but i think a draw or Madrimov win would have been the right decision.

I said similar in the RBR thread immediately after the fight- draw or 7-5 either way but I had it 7-5 Crawford because I him winning 11 & 12.
floyd spent his entire career fighting larger men and fought canelo when he was 36. floyd rehydrated under 5 pounds the last 10 years of his career. he fought like one guy in JMM who was a p4p top fighter that was actually smaller than him.
As for crawford, out of camp crawford is a good 25 pounds bigger than floyd and head to head floyd would school him.
That is myth or highly unlikely, Dev Haney For example is 165 in prograis fight from 140. Rehydration is more of a thing than is admitted especially with the disclosed IVs. No reason to use IV when you can get in the sauna for a short time to shed 5 lbs if that were true.
Why would I back out? This is too hilarious...exposing a mentally challenged, autistic goofball like you. All I had to do was post about the boxers that you whack off to like a weirdo. I must be doing something right for you to track my posts all over the forums. LOOL....
:stickp4:for them some more.
Careful, dunce. If they read this, you're going back
Had it even going into the last two rounds. I think Bud thought it was close and started letting his hands go a bit more the last two and won those rounds comfortably. Not sure why he was so gun shy the majority of the fight. Guy was shifty but nothing Bud shouldn’t have been able to handle earlier.
This....
Lol I wasn't done insulting you before you backed out
Never told me what your my mom thought of that new trick I showed her. I'm curious

If you truely had it a draw then surely you could have seen it possibky 8-4 in either fighters favour by what you said
Nope. I had two rounds that I thought were pretty much a toss up and I already gave both of them to Madrimov (because I thought he ever so slightly did more). Bud won his rounds more decisively so I stand by my original statement.
I was happy to see bud get good work but the Russian should have been moving his hands like he was moving his head/feet and feinting.,..8-4 is fair enough the guy really didn't land shyt bud is one of the most hated on boxers ever it seems, people loved spence
Jab downstairs
str8 right hand
awkward motion with the lead hand to distract southpaws
Often landing one shot at a time
pivots
clinches
T-Bud would have been in for hell if Israil had reflexes to counter like Mayweather
Mayweather doesn't have Madrimov power. Especially at 154
Floyd at 36 was fighting people smaller then him not going up in weight
