Likely opponents for Tim Tszyu Vs TBA, 22nd September in Australia

Erickson Lubin - IBF World Title Eliminator that could go to purse bid. Tszyu doesn't want Lubin to back out a second time & "do a runner" again. Jesus Ramos Jr - Mentioned by Tszyu today as another possibility. Sounds like a Plan B to Lubin getting cold feet. Vergil Ortiz Jr - With mutual respect, they obviously want to fight each other. Tszyu will be Stateside for Ortiz Vs Bohachuk, just maybe if Ortiz makes short work of Bohachuk?

Really? Looking at the rankings there's no 1 or 2 in the IBF so by default that makes Lubin the mando to Murtazaliev. It's Lubin's best chance at a belt at 154. According to Tszyu's promoter, "Lubin has been mandated". How else could Tszyu Vs Lubin go to purse bid? Murtazaliev wants to fight Tszyu (but not in Australia).

Charlo isn’t gonna say anything until at least after Aug 3rd, but more likely not gonna say anything until the Canelo money runs out. And if/when he comes back, if it’s even at 154, I don’t see him pursuing Tim if no belts are on the line. Lots of fights are available for him if he moves up, 160, 168. There's Lara, Adames, Plant, Benavidez, Morrell, there's Dirrell for a tuneup, Rezendiz, Hurd, Elijah, Williams, Gausha, etc.

Even if Vergil made short work of Bohachuk, that would leave him a month to get ready....that's definitely not happening. Lubin probably won't want to travel or he'll want too much money to do so. He has also been more inactive than Ramos, so one less reason he takes the fight.
