Seems like Shakur had a conversation on FaceTime with Floyd yesterday
Does this mean he’s going to PBC or maybe Mayweather is willing to sign him to TMT
One thing seems certain , Stevenson will be finding a new home
People don’t really take the time to really study what Floyd does in there. He only needs a slight opening to land a punch, and that was the main reason why majority of his opponent punching output dropped against him. He wasted nothing and capitalized off of any mistakes and openings. Shakur doesn’t do that, he can do it in spurts, but he’s not consistent with it. Crawford usually let his opponent overly commit and then capitalize with a KO counter punch, but he isn’t as good at manipulating/baiting his opponents to open up(No Diddy) as Floyd was. Abdullah Mason looks promising, but it looks like Crawford is the only one who stands out as of right now, and even then he’s still a tier below than Floyd in terms of talent and skills.
Like I said Floyd would never take that fight with Bud
That says it all and this is no knock against Floyd
Mayweather would never even think of fighting Bud
That would be a calculated loss imo
That’s your opinion. You might be right or wrong, we’ll never know. Stylistically, Crawford takes longer to adjust against Orthodox than he does against Southpaws. Having calculated patience and timing can momentarily disrupt Crawford’s flow(Kell Brook, Mean Machine, etc). I honestly think the only thing Floyd would have to worry about is Crawford’s sneaky right hook counter that he catches orthodox boxers with when they overcommit with the straight right hand.
Floyd tends to get a bit carried away with lead straight right hand without any set up to disguise it especially in his “Pretty Boy” days, and I think Crawford is good enough of a counter puncher to catch him with a right hook, and I think that would’ve been Crawford’s bread and butter in that fight. Floyd would’ve been quicker/faster with faster reflexes and the punching accuracy to box circles around Crawford. I’ve been studying Crawford for a while now, he leaves himself opening quite a lot of time and even get hit repeatedly in spurts in the same round with the same shots that Floyd normally wouldn’t have let happen to him.

Currently rewatching Mayweather-Canelo. Again, stop comparison these current guys to Floyd. There are levels to this ****. As great as Crawford looked against Spence, Floyd looked much quicker, sharper, with faster twitch/reflexes against Canelo than Crawford did against Spence.

Only difference is, Bud is a cold blooded killer with KO punching power and finished his fight in a more aggressive and dominant fashion.
Shakur is mad his career isn't unfolding like Tank Davis, but Shakur fights like Demetrius Andrade.
When you fight like Demetrius Andrade, your career is going to look like Demetrius Anrade's.
I’m beginning to think his problem is he has brittle hands

I mean, it's not a bad idea for him.
Floyd lets his guys keep most of their money. Which is better than Top Rank taking a huge portion of fighter's earnings before taxes, sanctioning bodies, coaches, and other misc payments ever before the fighter gets his share.
What does that mean for Shakur and actually contending though?
Probably that he's never going to fight anybody noteworthy. I guess he could really push for it but he's already proven to not do that and he's a year older than Haney, so he's not "a kid" either. He's a grown man actively choosing to chat s.hit but not actually make it happen.
Good for his pocket, good for his exposure, but not good for fans that want to see him take on actual challenges (i.e. Tank, Lomachenko, Cruz, Garcia, Haney, Teofimo etc)
u would like to think that tank and loma would do good numbers as loma is still a very good opponent for tank
taking a quick look i think haney loma did about 150k with loma getting a 3 mil guarantee for it and haney 4 mil, could be wrong as only a quick look
some guys give out about a 3 mil cheque for a fight but its not bad pay & u need some other factors to go your way to exceed it seems to me
i think tank fans will turn out for a loma fight to boost the numbers & loma fans will add a bit to that and casuals as both have name value, it might do fairly good u would hope anyway
Yup I agree
Two big names , what could go wrong ???
Huh? Tank does big ppv numbers. Loma doesn’t.
I think The number will be driven by Tank and the quality of the fight.
Not what I’m saying
My point is this ppv will probably do well no matter what cause of the marination and the two involved

You can’t compare Loma vs Tank honestly
Chit has been marinating for years and people craving for it
People even casuals will watch because it will be a fighter who actually will give Tank a good fight and has the possibility of winning the fight

I don't think tMt or PBC want Shakur. I think they're just trying to help the young brotha out to get Hearn to give him more $ in a fake bidding contest.
Ha maybe
Nothing surprises me
My thinking is Floyd getting him for a Tank fight
Anybody got a scoop if Floyd or PBC is picking up Stevenson ???

Yes that shows Ryan is a bigger name than the others, which we all knew.
I would like to see credible Ryan/ Haney numbers to gauge what Ryan brings. Where are you getting 600k from?
That was because no one knew Martin. We will see with Tank v Loma.

And yet Tank was doing 300K before Ryan, and 300K after Ryan. He averages about 225K himself irregardless of opponents, and the draw quality of the opponent adds the rest.
Haney PPV before Ryan 60K vs Prograis. Nearly 10 times that with Ryan.
The data is VERY clear. They did those numbers because of Ryan. Period. Tank Davis may have been the negotiating A-side, but Ryan Garcia was the one bringing the money. Dunno if that's changed with all his shenanigans or not but Tank is right back to where he was before, as I predicted.

Is Floyd the only promoter at PBC interested in working with Shakur? How about the others like Mandown, Lions Only, DGarcia, etc.?
If it's not Floyd, who else is there to serve as the go to in between Stevenson and PBC?
Stevenson broke it down to two ; MR or TMT
