Who here bought the Davis vs Martin PPV?

So, I take it that this thread is meant to crap on Tank's PPV numbers. People purchase what they want to purchase, for their entertainment. Yeah, I bought the fight, and I was entertained, which is the main goal. Not all of us watch boxing on weekends religiously. I watched the highlights on Youtube. What I'm wondering about is the Garcia/Haney. The PPV outcome is supposed to be massive. It's a fight fraught with all kinds of controversies from day one, bad and good publicity all rolled into one.

Out of curiosity, are Tank's gullible fans "happy" with a 300k PPV for their face of boxing? Sure, sure... They'll say it's still a good number. It's because numbers hovering around one million are no longer believable. Like I said, FatDan's next number will be close to the same fake 300K area. Probably 280k or 290k just make to it credible. Around 500K is just too much fakeness.

I did! I always buy Tank fights - I know that 90%+ chance there will be a knockout. Something I can't say about others in the 135 - 140 weight class. Also, I like watching Benavidez

Haney and Garcia were crying about not getting paid by GBP. Of course, they got paid their guarantees, but they're expecting massive PPV upsides. Haha... Get real people. Not many people are buying PPV worth $20 a pop. Let alone $60 - $80 PPV apiece.

Your research methodology is severely flawed. I purchased it. my guess is most of the buyers are not on this site.

So no one here bought the PPV. Yet some people can't accept numbers they don't want.

There have been threads like this and you can usually count them with your five fingers. Only one showed a picture of the receipt. I don't buy PPV. My brother invites me to his house and watch fights with him.
