Yes, Lomachenko is human so of course he’s older than 5 years ago but Loma has not shown any sign of slipping or fighting like he’s past his prime. He very much looks the same as when he fought Teo. If he was slipping or showing he was past prime, it would’ve been shown vs Kambosos . He looked every bit like a prime fighter and beat up Kambosos as was expected. Haney is over a decade younger then Loma and Loma kept up with the pace for the entire 12 rounds. He never looked old or like his better days were behind him. If Tank beats Loma, he deserves full credit and there shouldn’t be any “he waited til Loma was old” BS.
Yea, over 400 fights and Loma is still in his prime? Bunch of morons in here. Wake up.
I don't think anybody said he was still in his prime, the point is he still very very good and not far away from his prime, we are not talking about a on and off point in time, where are talking about an area from A to Z and if A is prime then loma right now is B, for reference Roy Jones right now is Z
400 sounds unreal right, not so with amateurs where they can fight multiple times a week during a tournament how else do you think they amass so many fights so quickly, but I guess the number embellishes your stand of Loma being closer to shot than prime.
What you meant to say is you know Loma is deteriorating, but you don’t wanna admit it cuz you’re a Tank fan.
Cause if he wasn’t there would be no need for this thread lol
Ss fughin transparent
Lmfao
When has he shown he was slipping?
Lmfao , now you funny too
Maybe boxing is not your thing or maybe it’s just nuthugging
But the fact you needed to post this thread says it all
End of fughin story
Prime Loma circa 2016-19: he is right in front of you but he's not right in front of you.
After the war and now ? Injuries, almost 37, slower, fighting bigger guys, opponents hit him more, almost retiring.
Loma will be just shy of his 37th birthday if they fight in December. He certainly has lost a step. You’re just lining up the hype in the event Tank wins a crooked decision. We have seen these same tactics with Floyd’s career.

“Loma, right now you got ability. But painful as it may be, ability doesn’t last and your days are just about over. Now, that’s a hard motherf*cking fact of life. But that’s a fact of life your @ss is gonna have to get realistic about.”
Loma hasn't been all the way right since Linares and the shoulder injury. I do think he's better than he was before his 2nd surgery (so yeah, he looks at least as good as he did in the Lopez fight) but now he's 36 and that's a little bit post-prime for a fighter who depends on reflexes and quickness as much as Loma does.
How old are you?
Not meant to be a snarky question but I'm thinking maybe you are still in your physical prime and the harsh realities haven't set in yet.

I disagree. Loma isnt the same person he was 3-4 years ago but yea, i get it that CASUALS want to make it a big deal.
Fight PEAK Shakur if tanked wants to prove something. Hes SCARED of ELITE BLACK FIGHTERS and all of you know it. Id settle for him fighting Deshawn but we all know that will never happen either. BRING ON average pitbull!!!! Lame.
the tankettes needed worry, loma is still good and tank will get credit for a good win and if he stops him that would be impressive, dont worry it will be ok
all the other stuff can be argued about later, life is full of BUT BUTS, tankettes even use them as well
Maybe he was too young and not ready, things in life are on a timeline of its own alignment is not always somebody scheming like fans always think, I feel like paranoia is so strong today in the average guy on the street, according to most somebody is always cheating, its like nobody is ever good enough on their own merit unless of course they are a fan of that guy, if not throw every bit of BS at them they can to lower anything they do.
Stop it. If you're a champion then you should be facing other champions or #1 or 2 in division. If you're not ready for the top dogs in the division then don't fight for the title until you are ready it's that simple. That's y it's stupid when people say oh he's too young or was not ready. If that's the case don't fight for the title.
No way you can say Loma hasn't slipped. The dude doesn't start moving until nearly the 2nd half of the fight and doesn't fight the full 3 minutes like he used to. This is expected as all fighters that past that 35 yr mark naturally do. While I still think he's competitive with the B and C level fighters. To take on strong A level fighters might be asking a bit much from him these days. I still think he would have stopped GKJ inside 4rds if he was younger and not let it go to 11. To me that's crazy.
Lomachenko has absolutely slipped. He gets hit more now, and more bruised up after fights.
He sonned Haney because even his old past prime self is better than Haney. But he’s still old and past prime.
