Why are they hyping up a Bam vs Inoue fight?

Am i crazy kid is 24 and they already wanna throw him in there with Inoue lol. The kid is smart he knows hes not ready for that. This would be a tremendous fight. Not saying it should happen now but you can see Bam maybe being at 122 in a year or 2. By then, barring upsets, both will be top 10 p4p boxers imo. Those are the fights I want to see.

Yes its not the same its even worse. Canelos been champ at 175. Undisputed at 168. Buds not even fought above 147 yet. It is a over hyped fantasy fight and if iy ever did happen people like you will just give no credit to Canelo once he wins. Because casuals don't even watch boxing. They just hear rwo names from lower divisions, ok, they should fight.

Same reason they're hyping Canelo vs Crawford. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of fighters all over the world and only a few stand out. It's tiring to see the same names pop up.

He's still unproven at 154 lbs. I believe Benavidez is a far more likely Canelo opponent. It'll be interesting to see Buds next move after Madrimov. That is likely to take at least 12 months though. I agree he ain’t proven or even seen at that weight but something tells me he’d make it look easy vs this version of Canelo

A call for Nakatani vs Bam would atleast make more sense before Inoue vs Bam simply considering current weight difference, unless they meant Takuma Inoue. In all honesty though, Bam really should try for the winner of Ioka-Martinez next. Will be huge in Japan for a big NYE party with a fat payday if Ioka, but in the US if against Martinez is fine too. If the winner must fight their mando first, then in the mean time a Tanaka unification in Japan to sell his status and get good money would work too.

Because casuals are desperate for an American to "expose Inoue" So they want Bam vs Inoue and Tank vs Inoue because they're casuals and have no fking clue what a weight class is.

That fight makes no sense. Rodriguez just moved up to 115lbs. Inoue fights at 122lbs. They are two weight classes apart. He's fought the majority (4 of 6) of his fights at 115 since 2022 so he didn't really just move up. 122 makes no sense but a catch weight like 119 would be fair to Bam if he really wants that fight. Imagine the $ he'd get if he went to Japan for that one.

Because this sport is always desperate to make a "mega fight", even if it's created artificially. Inoue has business to take care of at 126 soon,and Bam needs to clear out 115. Pitting them against each other makes no sense at all.

The Ioka/Martinez winner should be next, then Pedro Guevara. Then go for undisputed, then move up to 118.
