Not sure why people were picking Teo to win by KO, especially against a smothering pressure fighter with a great chin. That clown wouldn't last a single round against the guy he's calling a can. In this style match-up, the swarmer's punch resistance is an important part of the equation. Teofimo has never landed this many punches before, and he still can't put Claggett away. I think it's safe to say that Teo's power is not the same @140, but Claggett took a decent shot too. Bingo! Nice post!

If Teo continues fighting like this. He needs to learn more about infighting. Find ways to crack the enemy High Guard. This fight is similar to Kambasos, only this time the fixed was in, that scorecards are ridiculous. Teo won, but its a close fight. Also i want to add the commentators sucks, Teo's face was already swollen as early as round 3-4, because Clagget was obviously landing good shots, but mostly ignored by the commentators. First 4 rounds could easily went for Clagget by controlling those rounds and Teo staying in ropes doing nothing.

When you fight a punching bag you just beat them down until the ref steps in. He could not even do that. Plus he was getting caught a lot. That was a mediocre performance. 5/10. Teo very happy when the opponent stands in front of him so he can hit the target. I was surprised Kriegel was critical of Lopez in the buildup.

Like Isaac Cruz or Gustavo Lemos perhaps? Depends if that pressure fighter throws mostly hooks, like Pitbull, that would be entertaining. They pack more power, but they are primarily hookers. The lack of a jab may make things a bit easier for Teo to read their offense, but their short compact frames may allow them to get underneath Teo's offense. Cruz could prove to be a big headache for Teo.

I think Isaac Cruz could beat Teofima.

Teo is a sucker for the one-two. A better pressure fighter could improve on Claggett's performance. Depends if that pressure fighter throws mostly hooks, like Pitbull, that would be entertaining.
