I don't really know what it's about exactly, but that guy (Rick G.) seems to particularly hate PBC.
Grand scheme of things aren't looking too great for PBC right now though/so far this year.

This embarrassing.
Tank vs Martin did just under 150,000 PPV BUYS
I'm cooking the SLDBC all weekend lol.
Frank Martin is a good fighter, unfortunately for a PPV to break even and beyond they need to put on an either even match-up or one guaranteed KO from both sides. Tank is a PPV star but these PPV matches are getting expensive.
Hell, we’re getting Canelo-Berlanga in September which 95% sure it ends in a KO and yet…I would have to be batshit crazy to drop money on that.
If fighters want to make the big money, they need to put on what the people want. Plain and simple.
Loma vs. Tank will sell. They just have to coax Loma back into the ring.
But, but, Tank is a super star and he's the reason he did 1 million + vs Ryan, and that has nothing to do with Ryan's millions of social media subscribers...
Been saying this the whole time. Tank right back to his same numbers. If Ryan weren't a cheater and insane, he'd be the money guy right now.
No way of authenticating those figures. But common sense tells me that selling 100K PPVs is a tall order for any broadcaster. When I watch boxing and look at the other channels in other time zones, I see masses of people watching football, cricket, tennis, rugby, etc. These sports activities are going on at the same exact time. Simply put, these people are not watching boxing.
In the US I see people watching basketball on overtime, or replays of football, baseball, tennis, etc. So if any contact sports businesses still manage to sell 100K, that's a feat. One hundred thousand households buying is even hard to imagine in this day and age of Youtube and social media where everyone can virtually show what's going on in their surroundings. I've heard one acquaintance being able to watch a live tv show on his buddy's cell phone.
Keep crying like a bi*ch you stank fan LOL.
I remember during the internet's infancy, a friend of mine wanted to sell tutorials teaching this particular 3D program. He thought in terms of millions of people. And if he could only sell his tutorial to one million people even for one dollar a piece, he could be a millionaire! Much to his amazement, only 4 - 12 people bought it in a span of like 3 months. And how many hours of labor did he spend crafting his tutorials?

Gervonta Davis vs Hector Garcia 61,000 PPV BUYS
Gervonta Davis vs Pitbull Cruz 52,000 PPV BUYS
Poor Tank fans hehehe.

Even 350k is bad for Tank and his fans who were pushing him as the face of boxing, but I think those numbers are legit and basically what I expected. He was never a huge draw apart from the exception of the Garcia fight. Any sensible person knew that.
350k vs a Frank Martin is bad? You people say anything. Canelo himself did 230k vs Ryder and 500k vs Munguia who is a way bigger draw than Frank and had Mexicans support. Haney vs Garcia numbers still not released. 350k vs Frank Martin is a huge success
Dan Rafael is saying it did 325K - 350K. Funny tho, no one’s saying anything about the Garcia VS Haney PPV numbers, and both of them complaining of not getting paid yet. I guess the boi Tank is the new face of boxing

Why when you’re corrected do you call it splitting hairs instead of being an adult and admitting you got it wrong or made a mistake?
I didn’t say he contributed to the ppv sales of that fight. I pointed that out since you incorrectly stated he didn’t fight in Vegas. That said, he surely got a rub from it.
No. I simply posted the numbers in the thread. You were the only one that questioned those numbers. You stated it flopped. I just asked you did you have a credible source that led you to believe the figure you cited.
Since you don’t have a credible source, you’re back to your usual, deflecting and making ignorant comments.
Tank never headlined an event in Vegas prior to Ryan fight. The rest of your nonsense is just gotcha games because you’re still salty about the news today, lol.
The PPV flopped. Funny how you suddenly believe fat Dan after all these years of tearing him down. It didn’t do over 300K either. Tank would have been on IG posting his numbers by now if it did.
You’re splitting hairs as usual. Over something that has nothing to do with the topic. He had nothing to do with attendance or PPV sales for the McGregor fight. If anything that fight helped him, he didn’t help the venue or sales.
You are acting like you work for Tank’s PR team. You’re not in his payroll or his Christmas card list. You can stop simping h for him like you do Floyd. After his first loss he’ll be cast aside and self destruct. That is if he ever steps up to fight a real threat.

Why can’t you just answer the question? What are you afraid of? It’s like you formed your opinion on something other than credible resources and aren’t man enough to just say so.
His next fight appears to be Loma. He isn’t a ticket seller or Mexican. So if that fight does well it’s gotta be Tank driving the numbers.
I posted the sources in my initial post that you quoted. I also was clear this was hard to believe. You asking that is just deflection because you have no credible source.
Dan Rafael is reporting between 325- 350k buys. That seems more reasonable.
