Was close, but not close enough to be a Breidis W if that makes sense. Usyk swept the championship rounds and won a close fight in his opponents back yard, in a unification match. Those circumstances rarely warrant a rematch unless Eddie Hearn is involved.

Usyk got the best of Breidis in every exchange from the opening bell untill the last round. Landed the better shots, got the last punch in during almost every excange. Breidis was the one constantly backing up and disengaging. He did pretty well blocking punches with his face and staying active but it was not close at all. I totally agree with you. Usyk dominated Breidis from start to finish, landing cleaner and more effective shots throughout the fight. Breidis showed heart and stayed active, but he was mostly on the defensive, and Usyk clearly had the upper hand in almost every exchange. It was a one-sided affair, no doubt about it.

I had it 7-5 to Usyk with about 3 possible swing rounds It was by FAR the closest fight of Usyk's career, far harder than AJ or Fury, he won it by landing a handful of more jabs over 12 rounds. Don't start with the revisionist history because Usyk has gone on to have the better career, if Bredis had his hand raised that night nobody would have really complained and it's a shame it was never run back. Alot of those punches where on the arm or the guard but Compubox counts them anyway. Usyk was landing the more damaging shots.

His style leads to him being scored all close rounds because he looks busier because of all the movement. Judges give him rounds he's outlanded in unless it's by a significant amount, it's VERY hard to win a close round against Usyk on the judges card. Good point. Usyk def moves his opps alot. Ring control is being considered in scoring, mind.

Yeah, not really. Both of the AJ fights and the Fury fight were great. It would have sucked about the Bredis rematch if Usyk's foray into the HW division was a bust. Testing: blown instead of scked testing 2: sucks but not sucked? How about blown instead of blows??
