He gonna fight some name we barely heard of. When Jim Grey interviews you and asks whats next if you want the smoke you say ‘Lomachenko ur next lets make it happen’ not ‘Im gonna relax talk to my team and see what the future holds’
It’s hilarious that people are still acting like the lower weight classes go through Loma. That was over after the golden boy got his ass beat by Salido. Stevenson versus Tank would be interesting, though.
His ass beat by Salido ???
Lmfao

Lomachenko vs Tank Davis 'Is the fight to make for both fighters'.
Vasily Lomacheno and Gervonta 'Tank' Davis are both proven Elite to World level fighters. And Lomachenko with his recent performance vs Kambosos Junior, has proven he is still a top level fighter.
Therefore that type of dynamic in the match up 'Creates a situation where both fighters, have a lot to potentially gain from winning the fight'.
In comparison, I don't actually think? Stevenson vs Tank Davis 'Is right now a great fight to make for Gervonta Tank Davis. Shakur Stevenson is nowhere near proven as a fighter to the level of Vasily Lomachenko at World to Elite level'.
Gervonta Tank Davis is a elite level in the sense that he is unbeaten, and he has beaten a series of World level fighters. But Tank Davis has not actually fought and beaten another proven Elite level fighter, fighting Vasily Lomachenko will give him that opportunity'.
Shakur Stevenson is a World level fighter, trying to become a Elite level fighter. Stevenson's feats of achievement on a fight by fight basis, are not really elite level feats 'Adrien Broner right now as we speak? Historically has achieved greater feats of achievement in the sport of boxing than Skakur Stevenson'.
That is why I believe the fight to make for Gervonta Tank Davis, the best match making that can be made 'Is to make the fight with Vasily Lomachenko next'. Vasily Lomachenko is a proven Elite level fighter. Consistently for many years he has been one of the best pound for pound fighters in the sport, and recent performances have proven that he is still a top level fighter'.
Note: Stylistically Lomachenko vs Tank Davis, the action produced in the fight 'Would most likely create a more sophisticated violence. I can envision the actual fight being more passionate and brutal. Lomachenko and Tank Davis are stylistically quite similar fighters, therefore their styles are potentially going to collide. Both fighters tactically would be trying to dominate the fight in same area's. Gervonta Tank Davis has never fought a fighter, who can stylistically compete with him at his own game 'That is another factor which makes this match up, a great fight to make' etc.
Pillow punching? Loma KO'd fighters considerably larger than him. I'd say no one is scared of fighting a midget who only fights opponents on their way up or down and throws just 30 punches per round. Everyone is calling out Tank, no one is ducking him. Meanwhile Tank is calling out Inoue and trying to drag him up 3 weight classes while he avoids the best at 135.
Lol Loma really skilled but he's no puncher.. He hit Haney with hundreds of punches and didn't even have him in trouble once lol.
Tanks the draw so everyone mentions his name. Tank already said Inoue is too small but dumbass media and fans keep asking him about Inoue..
Tank is not scared of pillow punching Loma or Shakur lol.. Just stop trying to say pillow punchers supposed to be feared lol. If you spar if you fight you know what I mean. Guys like Tank would be terrifying to fight. Ain't nobody scared of light punching dudes like Loma and Shakur lol

I don't think Davis was seasoned enough 4 yrs ago , he just beat Gamboa and Loma was beaten by Teo and had surgery, you have the same ol crossover timeframe of former vs later, I suspect the hate for Davis is the prime reason some are hating on the fight they will hate on any fight with Davis, I don't care who Davis fights out of the top guys but nobody can convince me Davis vs Loma is not a hell of a good fight and Loma is a long way short of being washed up he is the best opponent for Tank at 135 by a country mile, Teo is not even in the weightclass nor is Cruz whom he already beat and Shakur hasn't exactly shook the house lately.
4 years ago Loma was p4p top 5 in the world. And Tank let Teo steal what could have been his. You take loma out at his peak not on the way down. The credit ain't the same.
Now Tank vs Loma is a fight with a foregone conclusion pre fight at least. Fights still have to be fought. But 4 years ago it would have truly been a mystery.
Shakur, Teofimo, pitbull are tougher fights than Loma for tank in my opinion.
Loma is getting this fight 4 years to late. He beats tank in 2021. Not 2024 though

So any opponent Davis is likely to beat is not real, seems to me to be skewed as Davis can beat any LW in the game and will probably be betting favorite against all of them, Loma is by far better than than any opponent Davis has faced. So who is the real fights for davis ?

Loma is not for real in this fight. That is my point. Styles make fights. And Loma don't like getting attacked. Tank is gonna steamroll him.
This was a legit fight about 4 years ago. Not in 2024.

Lol like I said nobody scared of light punching boxers. If you're not a casual fan you know how much politics there is in boxing and fights we want to see rarely ever happen. One thing is for sure, nobody scared of light punching boxers lol. Whats there to be scared of, sweating too much from doing cardio lol???
people spent YEARS claiming that GGG was sacred of Lara, or Ward, or whoever, and neither guy can crack an egg......
I don't understand your post it doesn't make sense, what does not real mean, is at his best no, is a top line performer against any LW in the world yes, your reasons don't make sense either, he was beat by Teo who was a monster in size, they haven't fought again, he arguably beat Haney in a great fight, he beat Ortiz who is not easy to beat by a long shot, and then he beat Kambosis in his back yard and won the IBF world title , then you got to go back 10 yrs to find a loss. I agree I think Davis stops him but I also think Davis will stop any LW right now not named Shakur, but if catches him he will flatline him also, pound for pound Davis is one off if not the biggest puncher in boxing.
Loma not real is totally inappropriate.

Then he should’ve added Lomachenko to his resume a long time ago when Loma wanted the fight. That would’ve been a huge, huge win. It would’ve been the best win on his resume
by far.
Yeah cause it's up to these guys who they fight lol. You just started watching boxing? The fights that make the most sense rarely ever happen. That's why the UFC is more popular now.
I agree he's a top 2 available opponent at 135 for tank. But he's no longer for real. Teo, Ortiz, Haney all showed what Loma is today. Tank is gonna flatline him. 4 years to late for Vasyl

For the record Loma has 397 amateur fights. 396 win and 1 loss. Exaggerating his amateurs fights does nothing to boost his professional profile. Amateur boxing has different rules.
One of the biggest difference is amateur rds. Amateurs only fight 3 rds with a duration of 3 mins per rd. Please stop comparing amateur fights to pro-fights if you want to be taken seriously.
I wasn’t trying to quote his record. I was off by 100. Never tried to compare the two.

Yep its totally different, imagine 400 pro fights I doubt it would be survivable.
Id say the likes of Manny JMM Canelo etc guys with 60+ pro fights where 90% were against the best pros is way harder on the fighter than 400 amateur bouts.
I don’t exactly think that Loma is a young 37. He had almost 500 amateur fights under his belt. It will be a battle of IQ. Thankfully they do size up similar. Loma has been fighting above his weight class for a minute. He was better suited at 130 than 135 imo. Hopefully it gets done and they have a great fight with no injuries!

Loma is a young 37. He has not been in many wars (boxing) to age so rapidly. He is just fighting guys his size who can box and punch. This means he is now fighting guys on his level. This downloading ish is nonsense. He beat the guys he was supposed to beat. All that excessive movement can be neutralized with a stiff jab and he found that in Teo and Haney. Haney and Teo were the two best guys Loma fought and he lost to them. Is that a coincidence? The interesting thing is that Tank fights nothing like Teo and Haney. However, Tank has something extra which is a higher IQ than Teo and Haney and he knows how to set up his big shots. The interesting part is how he set up his shots on a guy like Loma, because he has less of a jab than Teo and Haney. Will he walk Loma down? Can Loma move around for 12 rounds without gassing? Does Loma have enough power to keep Tank off him? These are the stuff that will come into play.

Not by looking at his boxing. He is still a big force to reckon with for any LW, and Davis is the smallest guy he has been in with for years. Loma is a great fighter in great form. The consensus is Davis wins, but Loma is for real.
