The dude has no weakness. There is no style that he struggles with, and he can do it all. Fight technically or throw down. in addition he has high fight IQ, strong chin.
He hits too hard and he is too technical to beaten
I had the Isaac Cruz fight even myself.
Bottom line is that Tank had the ability to force mandatory fights at various points with the likes of Josh Taylor, Teofimo Lopez, Vasiliy Lomachenko, and Devin Haney and he never did. He doesn't want risky fights.
Some of his wins have aged better than they looked at the time (Barrios, Cruz, Romero) but that's not the same thing as going after the best at their peak.
how has the romero win aged well? he got beat up by a 40 year old and robbed him and then stopped by cruz. the only notable win cruz had was over romero who we established was terrible and barrios did have a nice win over ugas for sure but he was also drained vs tank with one of tanks patented rehydration clauses. thurman also easily beat barrios so hes clearly not a top level guy. also garcia was drained more than probably anyone in boxing history, a catchweight, and a rehydration clause? da f-uk
yes very upset with him not going after the haney fight, its a ***ing joke, these guys all know each other they all grew up together, sparred together ect and you cant make a ***ing fight with them? now haney is probably at 147 before long and that fight will never happen. and there was a huge demand for it when they were at the same weight class.
Tank had the "Regular" belts at 135 and 140 at the same time. He could have forced a purse bid with the "Super" champion whenever he wanted and he didn't.

loma is old want to see him fight shakur more. but make those fights first before going up. hes a small guy, he looked small against martin last night, came in 133, we can forget about him going to 140+ for ryan or Haney.

Rofl. The same sh.it just as about Wilder before Fury almost killed him. That only a truck can beat him.I wouldnt call someone who routinely loses the first 3 rounds in a row unbeatable
in fact you box Tank, you beat Tank
Tank loses only if he fights someone who can crack.
I agree. And at this time I don’t think he will respect/fear fear Lomachenko’s or Stevenson’s power.
Tank is peaking now, I just hope we get to see him against the very best fighters at 135lbs. He could potentially clean the division, but I'm tired of hypotheticals, I'd like to see him do it.
At 135 Loma is still an interesting fight although Loma woulda wiped him 5 years ago.

Tank vs Teo is a solid matchup
Never said he wasn't good. Straw man? He's more hype than substance though that's for sure. He's been hyped and promoted as one of the best boxers but he's never proven that in more than 7 years. He's just another guy in reality. Could he mix with the best? Maybe but we know hes not so why put him up there with them?
You criticized the Pitbull win saying the other poster fell for the hype. That is saying it wasn’t good without saying it.
He wins fights while selling a lot of seats and PPV’s, that is why he gets promoted and hyped.
Of course he has. He’s beating world class boxers. He just hasn’t beaten one of his fellow top 3 LW’s.
You have celebrated others for doing same. You put them up there. Then you question when others do the same as you, just with a different guy.
I’m sure he could. He is building his career the way that makes the most financial success for him and his team.
If you look at the TBRB rankings right now, he has wins over the #5 and #6 LWs.
Since when does winning a tough, closer than expected fight to a world ranked opponent like Pitbull mean a boxer isn’t good?

Never fought anyone and lots had him losing to Cruz. You fell for the hype
