Playing toward his base again. Reese got fouled a lot worse (woman got a flagrant-2 and was ejected) a couple games before it. See you later Judge
What Whitlock means is his audience (rhymes with Gaga) only watches Clark. This is a group of fans the WNBA and ESPN have had a hard time connecting with.
Rest of the WNBA better get used to the new fans she brings.
lol this guy thinks that MAGA is watching wnba. Plot twist…nobody watches that garbage
She isn’t being bullied. Stop with the fake victimhood.
Yes, I am fine with high profile rookies being treated rough. Happened a lot.
Of course if you watched the wnba before Clark you’d know this.
Do you think anyone actually wants to see angry lesbians beating up Caitlin Clark? Or that this is any good for the league?
I have never watched a WNBA game until caitlin started playing, but now its my fav program and must watch TV, there is nothing more satisfying than watching a bunch of enraged lesbians on a basketball court
Granted given my lack of knowledge in WNBA (or basketball in general for that matter) I have a feeling maybe I am asking something as casual iboxing terms as "why do fans of Usyk and Fury hate the other boxer? Aren't they both are white straight male heavyweight boxers from Europe who got paid a lot by Saudi that are/were champions around the same time?"
Great questions. The pro Clark posters will avoid this.
It’s because they appeal to a different segment of fans.
Ionescu appeals to the traditional wnba fan. Clark, the new extreme right wing fans.
But why does Ionescu appeal to traditional but Clark not, even though to a less than casual who only knows like 10 wnba players names like me can't see a huge difference in appeal? Did Clark say something pro-right wing that pissed off a group of lesbians or left wing media or something?
And I don't follow WNBA enough to see what the difference between those who identify with one and not the other so I am wondering. Not implying anything either way, just wondering why they are in such a different situation because on the outside shell they both seem similar and I don't remember issues from lesbians regarding Ionescu to my knowledge even though...
They both are white.
They both are straight.
They both were drafted number one.
They both shoot a crap ton of 3 pointers
They both had huge hype coming out of college.
They both broke crazy records in the college level.
They both were the best player in college but their schools didn't win that major tournament whatever it was called.
And I don't consider looks as something that import in an athlete's skill but in my personal opinion they both look like the similar level of looks if that matters...neither aren't beauty model but also neither aren't crap ugly.
Did Clark get drafted by a crappy team while Ionescu got drafted by a good team or something?

The only thing dangerous is the bullying Caitlin Clark is being subjected to. But you’re perfectly ok with that.

Just look at this thread. It is obvious.

Where are your facts. We know you wouldn’t put it past them because you don’t like that they are black, gay and active in the issues you despise.
Youre letting your hatred and your victimhood drive your unsubstantiated opinions. Very dangerous.
There is no indication whatsoever that they are going to ruin the newfound attention.
Unless you have tangible proof. If so, post it and let’s discuss.
No you dont. Stop making yourself out to be some kind of paragon of integrity. You label it racism to justify your opinion.
Yea I did. I also gave concrete examples- Whitlock, Travis, you, ghostof, Dr z. -what do you all have in common?
I didn’t say anything about Repubs. Just the extreme wing.
You keep deviating to things not associated with the topic. Is that because you cant back up your claims?
Youre whole opinion on Clark is formed by what youve seen and heard from Whitlock. Geez dude, can’t you form an opinion on your own?
The only thing dangerous is the bullying Caitlin Clark is being subjected to. But you’re perfectly ok with that.
Breaking- Clark was not put on the Olympic roster.
I’m surprised. I know she wasn’t able to attend the training camp but I figured they would hold a spot for her.
The expectation is Taurasi is getting the spot for her 6th Olympic team.
I wouldn’t put it past these jealous b-tches in the WNBA to ruin the golden goose that has fallen into the league’s lap. And race has a lot to do with it. Unlike you I think racism is always wrong and will call it out when I see it. Not just when black people are on the receiving end.
You brought up “rhymes with Gaga” first so don’t cry about me pivoting to political stances. Which for you seems to boil down to “Repubs are white racists so I must support Dems at all costs, even if it means defending Drag Queen Story Hour and black mayors who declare their cities sanctuaries for illegals.”

In other words, as I said, youâre making a dangerous assumption. When as led to prove this, you canât.
Black people being wrong? Are you insane? Are Taurasi and Lobo black?
What is right? Good lord youâre embarrassing yourself. Nothing has happened to her other than a foul that wasnt even deemed a flagrant by the refs.
Youre the one putting skin color ahead of what is right. Youre labeling people without proof, then whining when you are asked for something tangible to prove what you said.
It isnât that hard- see how I backed up my claims.
Now youre pivoting to grooming of kids and other things not related to this discussion at the macro or micro level because my point is spot on.
Whitlock Has made you completely unhinged.

I don't follow WNBA that much but I'm surprised that something like it didn't occur when Sabrina Ionescu was drafted. I mean she was also the number one draft, considered one of the best gn the college having destroyed multiple records, and was white and straight.
I wonder what the difference was, the team she was drafted by?
The difference is who identifies with Clark and who identifies with Ionescu.
Just look at this thread. It is obvious.
I think what you have to understand is that white people are going to show out for one of their own in droves. Does anyone really think that if Clark was black that the attendance numbers and viewer ratings will still be the same? Please.
In the United States of America, if it ain't white. IT AIN'T RIGHT.
White people will always show their a.s.s when one of their own is showing out among something that's been dominated by black folks for years
Completely understandable. Clark is probably the first player the southern and midwestern whites identify with in the WNBA.
The problem, as this thread shows, is many of them are culture warriors that have never watched the league, hate the fact the league is mostly black, has a strong lesbian population, and has been at the front of the political issues they despise.
I don’t think anyone has made the argument that a black Clark would draw in the new fans she is.
The victimhood you espouse in this paragraph is exactly what I am discussing.
You sure. Breanna Stewart, Diana Taurasi and Sue Bird are white and have been dominating the WNBA collectively for over 20 seasons.
Did people shown out for them?
No. Of course they are lesbians that are out and are vociferous about social justice issues.
Again shows the point in the initial post has merit and validity.
It's not necessarily because she is White, it's because she is a straight player and is good. Reese is also straight, and she is also being attacked like others have in the LNBA (better acronym), but she isn't as good so there aren't as many attacks. The better the straight player, the more the attacks from angry lesbians.
You think it's natural that the game has been around a long time and there hasn't been coverage, so when the game gets coverage, they want to end that coverage by beating up and hopefully forcing out the player who brings the coverage? That makes no sense, and is why you are known as The Big Dumb.
Question- how do you know she is straight? Do you watch the wnba? If so you know a number of high profile players- Candace Parker ex- was married, had a child, got divorced and is now married to a woman.
None of you know Clark’s true sexuality. She could be hiding as to not impact ratings and endorsements like Parker did.
The foul Reese received was significantly more violent than the foul Clark got.
Of course it makes no sense. But who said that is what is happening?
You made that up. She isnt getting beaten up. Not one player has said the league would be better without Clark.
The number of fouls is relative to her usage rate. Not her race or sexuality.
No, you and a bunch of others like to throw that around when you can’t handle an intelligent fact based discussion an issue.
Stop it, Dunn.
You’re only in here trying to do damage control because it involves black people being in the wrong. You have a bad habit of putting skin color above what is right, and that is part of the problem.
It extends to your politics as well. To the point that you refuse to call out transgender grooming of children and incompetent sanctuary city policies…because you are black and thus feel you have to stay on the Dem Plantation no matter what.
It’s disgusting.
In other words, as I said, you’re making a dangerous assumption. When as led to prove this, you can’t.
