Wilder came off the back foot and turned the hip over on that Helenius KO. It's not where he starts. He starts on the back foot for many of his KO's. It's where he ends up. With the flush shots tonight, he never LEFT the back foot. Zero weight transfer. It's just an arm punch. You can't develop power like that. Watch the replay, and you can see him start on the back foot, then push off the back foot, turn the hip, and end fully on the front as he lands on Helenius.
Tonight he was just punching with the arm while keeping his weight back the whole time. Looks pretty, like Haney, and with his rep, it seems like it should be more impressive, but you see it doesn't even move Zhang's head.
Mmmhmmm...yep and Helenius thought ''Fück this, imma take the money, lie down and practice my spazzing routine i been working on so hard'
he knocked out helenius on back foot
Wilder’s ALWAYS been dangerous from his back foot. Besides, I rewatched the highlights and he rotated his hips on the follow through. Those were not “arm punches”, as our friend insists.
Wilder had his weight on the back foot. No weight transfer. He's absolutely shot. Those "flush right hands" on the back foot have very little power. Wilder was fighting with Devin Haney technique. Doesn't say anything about Zhang's chin, although I think it's pretty good. But it does say that Wilder is done. His style absolutely cannot be fought tentatively like that.

People learn through attrition…those who don’t want to learn fade away . Life isn’t set in stone to individual capabilities you have to expand that sometimes….it’s not about being Italian it’s about adding to your limited world …a world isn’t limited unless you seek knowledge and that’s what makes your reality.
I know what I’m talking about .
The quote sounds better in Italian
Anyway time will tell and we’ll see what his decision is
Only he can decide but to me he ain’t the same guy and he’ll never be that guy again and I know what I’m talking about
You can see how tentative of a fighter he has become
Yes he’s fighting a guy who weighed about 70 pounds over him but more reason to try and get him out but you could see why wilder was the way he was
When he did open up he got ko’d
That’s a myth, you can always teach anyone who’s willing to learn .People aren’t dogs and in fact you can teach power to who isn’t a power puncher to their extent of capabilities. When I post my fight on here in late summer you’ll see a level of destruction you’ve never seen before . I help everyone that wants to learn though .
I’ll let you think about this one ; a leopard chqnges his coat but not it’s spots
Sounds better in Italian but you get the point I assume
I guess we don’t see eye to eye then. But I still hope he retires and saves whatever health he has left. Like I said, I’m no expert, but he just doesn‘t “look” right to me when he talks anymore. Like a milder version of Spence.
I think he should retire and not even consider getting more damage

If you say so
He doesn’t look right, but his punches still look fearsome to me. But I wonder if he may have brain damage (as Fury has openly admitted he has) from their brutal trilogy. The ayahuasca may have also changed some of the cerebral wiring, but he does seem off to me when he talks now. Almost as if he’s drugged or sedated.
Maybe your right and that would be an extra teason to get out of the sport
Plus he’s got a sick daughter to worry about
Imo , he’s made enough money and can focus on helping her getting better
In all reality , I think we can agree that boxing has treated him damn well for being what he really is ; an overrated boxer
No way
That right hand is as good as his left lol
He’s done like yesterdays toast

I believe he’d KO Breidis fighting off his back foot, as well ans any of the other guys ranked beneath him.
Opetaia would eat his lunch, though.

It hasn’t been there for the last 4 fights
To me that means he’s done
They say power is the last thing to go

Being gun shy as he is and fighting off his back foot ?!?
Sorry no fughin way imo

We already saw Scott try to teach him to go to the body more. Not knocking Wilder at all here; but he always reverts back to original form when the pressure in the fight rises. He also doesn’t have the best stamina. I think he’s a haaaard puncher with very little else. When he uses his jab better, he seems to be more successful. I admit he mostly used his left hand as a range-finder in his last couple of fights. Right hand, in my opinion, is still there, though, even though I know others disagree with me.

Not sure you or anyone else can teach an old dog new tricks
Time will tell but imo , he would not be wrong retiring

I wouldn’t call him a bum, just a modern Earnie Shavers in a heavyweight era with very little depth.
Leicesterage has been a douchebag all his life and calls all boxers bums but when asked to tell us his accomplishments he goes the duck route
He is a piece of chit
Not much of anything else
The only bum here is your sorry looking ass Leicesterage
You one fughin ignorant fugh with no fughin accomplishments in life
Keep dreaming Leicesterage , maybe your only accomplishment was getting banned and coming back as an alt
But one thing is for sure , your still the same piece of chit Leicesterage
Sit down before you give yourself a heart valve malfunction you old geezer

He's like a worse version of Randall Bailey is how I'd describe him
He’s very thin; he could possibly make Cruiserweight. I don’t think he beats Opetaia, but he’d probably beat everyone else by KO.
