Stationary, immobile, big target. Zhang has skills but I see this pheonotype match-up as very favorable to Wilder and the only unknown is the motivation level.
If Wilder really wants it, he should be able to best this giant Asian
If he thinks Zhang doesn't punch that hard but thinks Wilder does, then ask him to identify one fighter Wilder has knocked out that is renowned for his chin. Just one. Also ask him, to tell you that fighter Wilder has knocked out that hasn't been knocked out or dropped repeatedly by others.
Joyce was renowned for his chin going into the Zhang fight, and til date Zhang is the only man to have hurt him with a head shot (first fight) and knocked him out (second fight). Parker is another guy renowned for his chin and Zhang dropped him twice with head shots.
If Atlas truly said that, then he doesn't know what he is saying.
Ortiz was never knocked out.
Atlas doesn't think Zhang puncher "THAT" Hard.
And Atlas has the same analysis as me

Got to give a slight advantage to Zhang. He fights better with both hands and that bomb he throws with his left has a hair trigger. Wilder's right hand has a hitch in it.

I wasn't referring to you. I know you picked Parker, as did a few of us. But point of correction: Wilder isn't old, washed up, or part-time, he only broke ties with his protection program (PBC) and has now allowed the world see him for who he truly is: "an American hype". There are many fighters today who would beat him, then and now, outside a PBC controlled environment, but the protection program wouldn't allow it happen.
If he were still under PBC control, they would have cooked up a dive for him (current Miller would have been an ideal candidate for the right price) and then call for a cash out vs Joshua, similar to how they did with that joke-called-fight vs his friend Hellinuis.
Wilder isn't washed Up. Parker is the first opponent besides Fury who was a good fighter that was also aggressive.
Ortiz was legit but inactive
The other side is that Wilder pulls back and doesn't have a tight guard.
Zhang is comparable in height so should be able to touch Wilder the left and hook if he throws in combination.
Yes, he doesn't fight as Long as you might expect. What he does instead is cock His hand back to muster monster leverage on His punch.
Wilder isn’t some boxing genius that will take advantage of all that. And Zhang has a good chin. I think it’s a dangerous fight for Wilder. Wilder’s ability to take a punch has also looked really suspect. Joseph Parker hurt him several times.
Yeah but of the quality opponents this is One of His better stylistic ones.
Parker rematch is probably better.
That was funny. I clearly predicted Wilder to lose every round against Parker and almost everybody laughed. Old washed up part-time boxer Wilder has always been a great winnable fight for Parker.
