Yeah the whole system is skewed, even the B sample everybody was waiting for, its the same sample lol just put in another vile, for the B to test negative it would only say the equipment is faulty it doesnt state Ryan was clean or the first sample was wrong, crazy setup they have considering the money involved. The batch numbers are the only way I could see any way it could hold weight in a court, if a same batch number supp tested positive you could fly with that, but you couldnt use what Ryan puts up as the sups he took he could easily have his bottle altered after the fact, if tainted sups are the new excuse then in multi million dollar events every supp consumed should have a sample give to the commission, claiming that's not my hand in the cookie jar doesnt wash. They need to tighten the whole thing up, they need to block every loop hole or just stick to their guns and say your test is positive the onus was on you too bad your gone, its all to wishy washy considering the money involved. If you're in it just for the $$$, knowing that you'll get perhaps a small fine or suspension, but get to keep your purse, what's from stopping a lot of fighters from doing this? We need much stricter consequences. Clearly suspensions don't matter in boxing. You give a guy 6 or 8 months suspension. Guess what, Crawford hasn't fought in almost a year since his biggest win of his career and he wasn't caught with anything. Fighters take long layoffs following big paychecks. They don't need to immediately get back in within 4-5 months like fighters years ago. The fines are too small and knowing that, they can set aside money to cover it like it's no big deal. What they really need to do is go after their actual purse. In the contract it has to be said that being caught, you agree to forfeit your purse. Something to that extent where the fighter it agreeing to a huge consequence. That'll make them think twice about being caught since 90% of fighters, regardless of titles, career status, are in it for the money.
