I noticed this myself and it definitely gave Fury an unfair advantage in the fight. Sure, Usyk could score points with punches landed on the top part of Fury's trunks, but the protector was pulled up just high as the trunks, which made it more difficult for Usyk to actually hurt Fury with body shots. It also illustrates how hypocritical and disingenuous Fury and Frank Warren are, when you think of all the shit they threw at Usyk for - according to them - wearing his protector too high during the DD fight. To tell bare faced lies about Usyk wearing his protector up to his nipples, then do the same thing himself when he fights the guy, is typical Tyson Fury.

I was commenting that at the start of the fight. The Usyk corner didn't complain about that and if they rematch they should bring that up. Lennox Lewis complained of a fight he was going to have that the opponent wore his trunks and protector too high and when the officials addressed it he winds up coming in with his trunks very high.

It's straight up cheating, I can't believe nobody said anything. It's something that needs to be addressed in future if he fights on. Imagine talking all that s**t about Usyk being weak to the body and then coming in wearing a body belt protector. Absolutely no shame, this guy.
