-If you'd like to change your pick before the fight starts, post in this thread to do so. Ideally tag me so that I don't miss it.
-2X doubles your points and 3X triples your points x5 multiplies your points earned by 5. Everyone starts with 8 doubles 4 triples and 2 x5s to use throughout the year. Multipliers may only be played on the bookies underdog in any fight as indicated on the first post of each Pick Em thread bolded under the section entitled 'betting odds'.
The Alvarez decision is considered 'close' ?
No, it was a decision clear - 15 points difference means "clear". It's explained at the beginning of each new weekly thread.
Close: 0-9 points
Clear: 10-18 points
Wide: from 19 points on
:boxing:
shouldnt i have 4 perfect picks?
:boxing:
mlac
Nishida pts close x2
Figueroa KO late
Alvarez Decision wide
Takuma Inoue decision wide
Akui Decision close
Inoue KO mid
Figueroa plus the Inoue brothers... that's three - did I get wrong anywhere?
If you can be a regular time-stamper of the game, that would be a much-appreciated assistance needless to say.
In regard to the rest, of course I can't be a judge (also because I don't decide anything here besides doing the maths and harassing people with my weekly call-outs :lol1:), but looking at the time of the posts I do believe that most of them came before the fight start, and the one which was in doubt was in some way justified by a technical issue.
im with finox on this one and not just because it benefits me top of the table :lol1:
Bruh you already have alot on your plate. I will be on it.
It’s something Ive noticed from time to time but Im no player hater so I just let it be but the Rodriguez-Nishida fight stood out to me. That one is suspect because the guys who used multipliers happened to be late picks also. Please correct that if Im wrong.
Like dudes were so confident on Nishida of all people lol that they decided to throw multipliers in the first week which is totally fine, but couple of those were late is all im saying.
Regarding Nishida, even the die hard Japanese fans didnt give him much of a chance. Of course some knew better and picked him but it’s the late part that makes it weird

I dont know about this man. There needs to be a time stamp. Guys from different time zones are posting their picks during the fight and after. Like who is checking? Sometimes this feels like some neighborhood bingo game with too many benefit of doubts. It’s like Ohhh ok Harold I will take your word for it and give you points.
Im just saying man. I often see late picks and they should be verified thoroughly.
I'd do it myself, brother... but am unable to, unfortunately. Even in the past, this was usually depending on the availability of some of the guys who were watching live. Needless to say, when cards from different continents are mixed, it all becomes more problematic. It would be sad if someone takes advantage of good faith, hopefully it doesn't happen.
Still, aside from the Rodriguez vs Nishida slight controversy this time, I can't remember a late pick that was accepted as valid in recent rounds.
And just a heads up in case no-ones mentioned it already, there's a x2 underdog multiplier on Sho Ishida Tatabanya
too fiddly and I don't have the time this minute to update the OP with the odds from my phone but Sho is sitting around +450 if anyone wants to change their picks.
I'm going to kick myself for being honest, but how did I get 90 points? Shouldn't I only have 60?
My picks were:
Figueroa (20), KO (10), Mid (It was Late)
Alvarez (20), Decision (10), Close (It was Clear)
Did I miss something?
Yes - the 30 points you made with Nishida's upset win over Rodriguez
