I don`t buy that nonsense about Fury being unprepared for Ngannou and about Fury being 100% focused on Usyk.
Fury will not become something else in 5 months.
Fury just sucks and he will likely lose very bad. After that nobody will care about Fury -AJ, Saudis can keep that money for future events.
Because he OLD, fat, and not very good! And bald, bald being a sign of age. I think he is a PED cheating fraud who had beaten many men ranked when they fought in Ring Magazine's top ten.
Now to anyone, prove me wrong!
Well THAT's up to Tyson Fury to do. Without a doubt, the foremost thing on his mind.

Hot take this. F.ucking hell.
A little Devils advocate.....
Where I see holes in the repeating theory:
"Fury is past Prime"
Why? Because he saw Ngannou as a no-threat opponent and played around in preparation and during the fight? Forget the Ngannou fight, and stop acting like it means anything. Fury won, and Ngannou went on to demonstrate that Fury indeed had nothing to worry about with him. Sparring the MMA GOAT was just fun and Money. Fury was never better than he was against Chisora and Whyte, both comming off career best performances, in the champ's last two real fights.
"The Wilder wins mean nothing because Wilder sucks"
Well, everybody has their favorite fighters, and their least favorites. Some choose to construct a mythology around Wilder based not on facts, but on Envy of America, racisim, stupidity, or whatever. But it's fairly simple, really. If you win an Olympic games medal, win 43 pro fights, scoring 42 KOs, make 10 title defenses vs. WBC ranked challengers, step up against the lineal champion and fight a draw, engage an historic trilogy against that champion, and boast of the highest KO rate of any major governing body titleholder in history, and stay solidly among the 3 top men in the world within the highest paying, most historically significant combat sport for eight years without interruption; at the very least, you don't "Suck".
6 months ago, the same kind of things were said about Joshua. If Usyk looses to Fury, and we need to prepare for that, they'll say that HE sucks too.
That's just how some fans are.
But not the knowledgeable & reasonable ones.
Those fans, they show respect for people doing extraordinary feats.

Unfortunately being undefeated with a weaker resume is often seen as better than someone with a stronger resume and some losses which is counterintuitive because having a stronger resume will lead to more losses
I like this.
Unfortunately it is like the boxing fans or at least the casuals that will attend boxing events are to blame.
For whatever reason nearly everyone with even the faintest interest in boxing is comfortable forming a strong opinion on everything from boxing psychology to the biomechanics of the sport - even if they have never even hit a bag.
Undefeated will always be better when the bulk of the fan base have never been punched in the face.
Always makes me wince when heavies like AJ are described a chinny.
Oh yeah it as mad his brain scrabbles on occassion when he gets banjo'd by an 18 stone man on the chin.
Doesn't matter how many times fighters and pundits says 'all it takes is one punch' you'll still get people watching them as if they are 8 stones manlets and surprised when massive humans get tired.
Take Zhang for example....he's 20 stone 11. What the f.uck do people actually think he does for cardio other than just boxing drills and sparring?
He's not carrying that body around on a long run he'd absolutely f.uck his knees. Maybe he could go on an excercise bike. There is a good chance Zhang does absolutely f.uck all because he it's impractical and he's 40...so he's always always gonna get tired in top level boxing

Fury has been over rated for years! He faced the over rated Wilder and old and over rated Chisora 3 X each... Previously he was cut up like a fish vs. Wallin lost to fat Jon McDermott but was gifted on the cards with a win.
Oh he has been busted for PED's and has been docked points in five separate fights! He is both a fraud and a cheater.
Recently has been exposed by a 0-1 boxer who got badly KO'd in his second fight.
I expect Usyk to expose him again.
This is excactly how I feel about him.
Fury could have improved his game in the last years if he fought guys like Ruiz, Povetkin and others. But the guy fought 3 legit opponents in 10 years and stayed undefeated, which led people to believe he was better than he really was.

Fury is a top level guy but he's not any better than a joshua type. Joshua simply fought better opposition so he took more losses. I mean joshua beat Klitchko Wallen ngannou and whyte which is most of furys resume
only other guy is wilder who was massively overrated. Joshua has Parker who is much better and guys like povetkin and ruiz who are a level above wilder. Fury is tough to beat but his scarcity of fighting top level guys has led to people overeating him and filling in the holes of his resume with fantasy greatness.

I don't even think Fury has the legs or the gas to be up on his toes anymore.
Back to the 6'9 of inside fightingness mode or whatever he called it. It's less tiring for Fury anyway to try and get march on.
I think he'd have make peace with the fact he could feasibly offer an opportunity for the Ukrainian middleweight to KO him but that's the game
yeah his fight with wlad was almost a decade ago and hes had so many cycles of going over 350 pounds since then, he will never be that same guy again. he will have to use his pressure flatter footed style from now on.
We will see (well...hopefully)
Fury is so inconsistent and most likely not in his prime anymore. But hes still the bigger man and if the GOOD version of Fury shows up, that guy looks like he beats Usyk imo. Lets not forget Usyk is 37 too, fighting as a small HW, with a big part of his game being his movement and volume which arent traits that tend to age well.

I think Fury's only chance to win is to get dirty. Push his luck as far as he can just short of a points deduction.
If he doesn't I think he'll have a long lumbering night trying to catch the cat and getting peppered with shots while doing so.
I know some of you will not like this, but I am gonna say it....Fury is just not as good as people make him out to be. I consider his BEST win was against Wlad. And the only reason he won that was because Wlad refused to throw any punches. Then, Fury pulls out of the rematch.
Now, look how bad Wilder has been when he stepped up in competition...He was losing against Ortiz twice before he caught him. Loses against Parker. So Fury beating Wilder is nothing to me.
Even without training hard Fury should have beat Ngannou easy. AJ did not even break a sweat beating Ngannou. AJ is almost as big as Fury and has a way stronger punch, yet lost to Usyk TWICE.
There is just no chance Fury beats Usyk. This will be one of the ugliest, most boring fights too. Fury is going to hold and lean all night long. If you thought Fury/Wlad was boring, this one will put you into a 2 day bender.
Fury certainly didn't train properly for the Ngannou fight, however his style of a lot of clinching and physicality was just I'll suited to the Ngannou fight, also Fury doesn't have anything like the one punch stopping power AJ has so it transpired than Ngannou matched up better vs Fury, an unorthodox physical fighter better than vs AJ, a textbook boxer with less creativity but more power.
I do feel Usyk will beat Fury because I think even though fury didn't train for Ngannou, even when he does train for Usyk I just don't think Fury is what he was.
However it's definatley not a sure pick, it's possible Fury can turn the clock back one more time, that Usyk himself suddenly falls off a cliff at 37 years old, or that Usyk just will not have an answer for Fury's physicality.
I lean heavily towards Usyk but I still think it's a fight with intreague.
I think youre going to see a very good version of Fury, he has sooooo much to prove now in this fight which will give him loads of motivation, Fury doesn't like being put down one bit and he is being shot down all over its a massive legacy fight for him, I hope Ursk wins it but if Fury comes in real shape he will Spiderman a UD, box and move and tie up when ever close, he is just too big and mobile. The Francis version of Fury would be easily beaten by Ursk, I don't think we going to get that version.
Thank you. He is going to make it an ugly fight. I suspect he will use his stick to keep a glove in Usyk mid-section. You can bob and weaving, angle like Lomachecko all you want but your core will always be there to get hit.
Fury SD
A lot of people are going to crying robbery and foul after this fight.
The same people who should have been saying that when AJ and DDD beat Usyk with body shots and took his belts.

I'm glad HW will finally get Undisputed, but I don't plan on watching for that very reason. I've never fully recovered from Fury/Klitschko lol

I think Fury is walking on his last legs and he definitely does not want to be the laughing stock on repeat in the battle of Britain.
yes true i take your point
being laid out by AJ would be embarrassing, but if fury gets his Ass together and beats usyk then i dont think he would have any fear of AJ, remember fury got up many times from wilder, one of his good points is his recovery from down on the floor
if he cant beat usyk then im not sure about the AJ fight, 2 usyk victims duking it out, hhhmm, if the money was right who knows
I used to like Fury but Im done with him. Im tired of his inconsistencies and all that nonsense about him fighting down to the level of competition. As the HW champion of the world, he is obligated to perform in every fight but the way he came in against Ngannou was beyond embarrassing.
I dont like his chances with Usyk. Joshua would beat him too right now.
