Win or Loss against Usyk, Tyson Fury fights Anthony Joshua next...
If Fury losses, they will just say that Joshua needs to test himself first against Fury after his 2 successive losses to Usyk...
If Fury wins, well that's the obvious fight to make next...
But what happens if Fury losses to Usyk by KO? (very remote possibility)....
.
We understand the big fights have rematch clauses now. But i dont think they should be immediate and that they cant fight someone differnent in the meantime. If Fury beats Usyk, then Fury can then give Josh a fight. And fury fights Usyk after that.
And if Usyk beats Fury, Usyk should then want to beat Flip, Parker, and then rematch Fury if Fury still wants it. The division shouldnt be held hostage, fights are too hard to get made now.
Usually rematch clauses are immediate... It's up to the loser to exercise it....

If the fight happens, I see Fury retiring in the ring.
If he loses it will be "I knew I was past my best but felt I had a duty to the sport to make an undisputed fight and pass on the torch".
If he wins it will be "I've got nothing left to prove".
He won't go out of this sport any other way. And if he wins we'll never hear the end of him hinting at comebacks on social media and suggesting he could still smash anyone in the division.
I've never thought he goes near Joshua. He knows what many of us know, that styles make fights and a big boxer puncher isn't right for him.
I'm still not convinced the Usyk fight happens but, if it does, he'll have his script written in advance.
You talk like a prophet
I don't see Fury fighting AJ before he retires. Expecially not this rejuvenated AJ. Fury is extremely obsessed with his unbeaten record.
If Fury loses to Usyk, there will be no more unbeaten record to protect.... He might as well fight AJ....
If he loses twice to Usyk, Usyk will likely retire on top, and Fury can try to rebuild like AJ and Parker. Lots of credit to those two coming back and looking like they have, especially Parker. He's taken some big fights against big punchers and found a way to come out on top.
There’s a rematch clause, so there’ll be a second fight no matter who loses

This is Usyk fans all over, wanting him to run for the hills after just 20 pro fights
At cruiser he beat a couple of bums and he's beaten 1 good heavyweight and you want to call this guy an ATG
He doesn't belong in Cannestota with true legends like Holyfield, Lennox, Ali and Co.
Whatever you say pal. Gotta fight AJ 10 times until AJ gets his win back :lol1:
Yeah, no. He cleared out his actual division, moved up and became unified champ. If he becomes undisputed that's it.
He goes down as an ATG boxer and first ballot HOF regardless.
Pretty much, why would he fight AJ for the third time?
AJ said he will fight the winner of Usyk-Fury but I think he should test himself first against Fury if Usyk wins since Usyk already beat him twice in a row...

If Usyk wants to go down as a true ATG heavyweight he has a lot left to prove.
Clear out the division, let's see Usyk vs Jalalov, Sanchez, Hrgovic etc

Crazy how everyone switches up year ago AJ was "finished" now everyone acting like as if he is number 1 in the division as if there are not 2 undefeated heavyweights with all the belts facing off for undisputed.
If Usyk beats Fury twice, he should just retire IMO. **** else do you prove at that point? Especially since he'll be 37-38 around that time.

Unless Usyk loses & has an injury I think AJ is gonna be in line for 1st dibs in 2025 vs the 2nd fight winner, likely Fury imho.
I do think Today's AJ is looking & talking like a guy who's got his sh^t together more than the guy Usyk & my MI bro fought. So AJ vs Fury or Usyk (part 3) might be more interesting than I'd have thought not long ago. Ben Davison is maybe the best trainer in the game right now. This mfer gets ppl about as right as they are possible of being.
