But it's no problem for floyd as his fans will say floyd carried connor
- - l'l floydy carried Conor using l'l floydy face first defense that absorbed 111 punches from Conor who was coming off a sparring session where he KOed Big Mouth Paulie.
I couldn't see that happening to McGregor. He's got more boxing ability, he looked larger in the ring that night and Fraud, Fraud doesn't hit that hard to begin with, at least not 1 punch power. While I do suspect he carried Conor longer than he needed to, there was no way he'd score a 1st or 2nd rd KO. Not even in his dreams.

Of course that's what the excuse will be after the fact. McGregor was a 0 win, 0 loss fighter.
I think that Horn would smash Connor too lol, Manny thought Horn was a cakewalk, got to be careful fighting big Aussies who are huge underdogs on home turf they are generally rough and ready, Connor wasn't rough house like that he tried to box and I can't help but vision Manny just bombing him, if Floyd wanted to stop him as fast as could it might have gone 4 rounds, he just decided to go 10 as that's the round he bet on.
McG had more of a grasp about boxing than Horn did :lol1:
Horn was a 15th rate Maidana.
McG slickness > Whatever Horn does
Imho
Did he really bet 10 ???

May was a dozen years older
At the weigh-in, Mayweather tipped the scales at 149.5 lbs, with McGregor at 153 lbs.
On the night of the fight, McGregor weighed nearly 20 lbs heavier than Mayweather.
Not known for KO'ing MFers
Excuses excuses.
Just say ya crush was scared.

Thats obvious, if you state you will stop a guy in the 10th by betting on it and then do that, you carried him there because if the bet was on the 8th he gets it done just the same.
Pac didn't have an easy time of it vs Horn (of all people) and TBF, McG showed some rudimentary knowledge of boxing
But yeah.
Maybe a younger Pac would have countered McG brutally
I don't think May was in a rush to end him whereas Pac would have been.
McG > Horn, imho

I reckon Manny would have smashed Connor in a more brutal way than Floyd did, Floyd gave him no respect and just walked him down Manny would have put heavy hands on him, but yeah its exactly how you said age, weight, styles, problem hands etc were all in play. You know the haters talk sht that just reflects them.

Floyd wiped out that small Japanese boy he fought so he could have done it but he was scared
There it is.
Prior to the fight Floyd was getting Conor out of there 2, 3 rounds max.
After the fight Floyds old, hands was hurting, he was too small, and couldn't punch.
Just say he was too scared.
Key here is McGregor should not have lasted 10 rounds against the so-called best fighter in the world.
Not every fighter is the same, be it the boxer or the MMA guy. There are likely other combinations of eite boxers vs MMA guys in boxing that would last longer and be competitive than they "should" because of the stylistic match up. Ngannou/AJ was just not one of them.
Key here is McGregor should not have lasted 10 rounds against the so-called best fighter in the world.
lol , he bet on the 10th, how does you saying he should not have lasted refute Floyd carrying him until the payout round, just crazy logic I don't understand how posters arrive at these kind of thoughts.

Floyd wasn't even on the P4P list at that point let alone considered the best fighter in the world.
He was retired for 2 years.
And on face value that's has no meaning, all the variables must add up for that to be true, and with Connor vs Floyd it don't add up any more than saying Beterbiev should KO Ngannou in the first round.

I didn't say he didn't but that Maidana fight was like 3-4 rounds where he sat on the ropes and block most of Maidana's worked, moved it to the center of the ring and it was a clear 8-4 or 7-5 if you want to be nice fight. Mexicans were running around saying Chino Maidana (could have sworn he was Argentine) for FMW played them for another $35 million rematch and avoid the real dangerous mandatory, a southpaw with longer arms and who could manage distance.
Yeah I know he beat Maidana in a phonebox slugout where he beat him infighting, but you had the haters come out of the woodwork claiming robbery so it went down again, if Floyd didn't fight him it would still be sung today that he ducked him.
He has only rematched very close fights, and many haters were crying robbery so he had to run it back, he always wins rematches very clear.

Mayweather also looks to play for rematches so he can get a 2nd easy check. See the un-necessary Maidana 2 fight when Erislandy Lara was ranked #1 for 154 WBA and WBC
