As a boxing fan, which situation was more suspect to you?
1. Juan Manuel Marquez knocking out Manny, displaying power he did not show before, or since, specifically in his next fight with Tim Bradley.
2. Antonio Tarver's freakish knockout of Roy Jones Jr, Jones was never the same after the fight, Tarver was later run out of boxing for using PEDS.
.
Alex Ariza knows his fair share on PED's as well, putting it loosely.
Both Pacquaio and Marquez obviously have plenty of reasons to suspect them of PED use on the surface.
True, the thing that gets me is fans of Manny calling ped use with other guys while they defend Manny ped accusations, if they were consistent I wouldnt get on them.
And what of Manny for the very same reasons, was he on PEDs he was trained by a Ped Cheat Justin Fortune, but Marquez was obvious but Manny was clean that's your stance right?

Marquez. Steroid use was obvious. He hulked up at 39 and hired the biggest drug cheat in boxing to help train him. A guy known for being able to administer PEDs undetected. His head and face looked freakishly distorted.

Not that kind of concussive power, the first knockdown, and the knockout were BRUTE physical strength, and if he had all that power already, where was it in the first three fights? He didn't even knock Manny down until the 4th fight. Your argument carries no weight, JMM is suspect.
Suspect and the punch doesn't mesh, he could have come off the couch and that very same punch that landed pinpoint with Manny launching into it would still KO him. That shot was perfect and he may only land it like that once in his entire career, and Manny jumped into it; nothing was suspect about it at all.
You say the guys argument has no weight, the irony is because of the weight it set the scene for that shot, and which Manny forced it onto him as JMM wanted 144 and Manny said no its 147, Roach said we want JMM to stand with us that's why we chose this weight, well he did and it backfired, it was no normal shot that landed it was the perfect storm to do what it did.

I remember JMM looking like a different man before that Pac fight, his muscle mass seemed so much more pronounced than before, his back was wide. Marquez had a decent KO percentage but he wasn't really a concussive, one punch knockout artist. From what I recall (and it's been a while since I watched his fights), he used his skills to systematically break guys down. I thought he ended Pac that night...
Tarver was on PEDs but I also felt like RJJ was never really the same fighter after going up to HW and beating John Ruiz. Tarver chinned him but Glen Johnson did the same the very next fight.
Both were most likely juiced to the gills on those nights. Their opponents probably were too.
All those guys were on PEDs, in fact roy is the only one of the 4 who looks least likely but I know he was too. Manny, JMM, Tarver, those guys were performing into their early 40s competing with guys in their 20s. Naive sports fans will think that is from protein shakes lmao. Roy is the only one who got shot in his mid 30s. Remember in the 70s and 80s, fighters were normally shot around early 30s. And we know that on average, men in the western world have rapidly declining testosterone over the decades, most likely from microplastics and other chemicals in the water. But for some reason athletes perform better now into their late 30s and 40s and idiots are naive enough to think its just BCAAs and creatine cancelling out the declining testosterone? lmao
They got caught by hooks they didnt see coming that they didnt brace for, that is what happens. Both similar like that.
All elite athletes are on PEDs. The same argument that OP is making for JMM having KO power could be made for Manny who had a huge KO streak at 147 and then his power seemed to disappear overnight.
so what, they are all on PEDs, retard.
You're entitled to your opinion but that's all it is, an opinion. You can have the opinion that any boxer is on PED's, it wouldn't be a far fetched view.
The difference we KNOW Tarver took PED's and multiple times. We don't know if Marquez did.
Your absolutely right and that is why I don’t enforce my opinion cause it is just that , an opinion from what I could see with my own eyes
Tarver was juiced but then again so was RJJ
The fight of who’s got the best masking agent lol
You recall right
JMM looked like a totally different person
Don’t need a test to think someone is on the juice
I can make my own opinion and then figure out if it’s true or not
Just sayin’

The last part is in response to the people saying he never tested positive
Just threw it in

I think so too, even leading up to the fight, there was chatter about it, Kevin from Yahoo published his suspicions the week of the fight.
Mind you as someone said , PAC did intensify the punch by coming to it but JMM never had power like that again and it’s proven in his fights after that
JMM was robbed by judges every ****in fight, spoke about it, told the press he's not letting it go to decision, he's going to prove Pac just get's judges favor on anything close and was never better than Juan by knocking him out.
Then he did just that.
You don't agree because you got such a tiny pee-pee
None of the first 3 were robberies though. It's not like they were ward kovalev type decisions. I personally had it pac-draw-draw. Marquez said the Bradley fight was a robbery too, doesn't mean it was.
Yeah, Tarver's knockout of Roy "Iron Jaw" Jones was certainly freakish all right...

It is an absurd thread. Tarver could always punch too.
Tarver could always punch, but not like that, the way Jones reacted simply wasn't normal, and given how hungry, how desperate Tarver was for fame and fortune, given his track record, that fight has a HUGE black cloud over it.
Marquez showed power he did not show before? 56 wins with 40 KOs… Manny has been KO’d by lesser fighters and Marquez hurt Manny before
I’ll go with the guy that actual got caught red handed

Just to evident
Wanted that revenge so bad
Revenge really does eat a human up in many different ways
Can bring the worse out of you , sometimes for the good but mostly for the bad
Where there’s a little good , there’s a little bad and where there’s a little bad , there’s a little good
