Good call by the TC. I was also thinking Ryan had a good chance. The media just overrates the **** out of Haney's boxing ability. Not every black guy is "slick", Haney is sure not. For real though, I knew should have put money on Ryan Garcia. He was +2000 to win by decision. Ya I heard some boxing fans say that Haney was a bigger better version of Shakur Stevenson. How much of an effect do you think the 3lbs had? I think it helped Ryan Garcia with punch resistance and leaning on Haney. As far as Ryan Garcia's speed advantage and massive power advantage I dont think it had any serious effect. Hard to know how much the 3 pounds mattered but I dont think thats what decided the fight. Haney defense is very much about pulling straight back. This works against smaller slow footed fighters like Kambosos, Jo Jo Diaz and Prograis. Ryan Garcia is a bad style matchup for Haney. Haney doesnt counter punch and Ryan Garcia swings wildly with no fear and is there to be countered. Haney even caught Ryan Garcia clean a few times and got Ryan Garcias attention but could never drop him which Luke Campball did and Gervonta Davis did twice.

Prograis didnt have Ryan Garcias athleticism and reach. Ryan Garcia wont be weight drained like he was vs Gervonta Davis. He will be at 140 stronger. Haney isnt this master boxer his fans like to make him out to be. Hes a lot more hittable than most people recognize. I'd agree but I think Ryan's actually gotten worse. If the Ryan that showed up for his last fight v Duarte fights the Haney that took apart Prograis and was at least competitive with Loma, I wouldn't be shocked to see him quit in the corner. But credit to both for making the big fights and taking the risk. What's boxing come to that Ryan Garcia seems to have more balls than Canelo Alvarez...

I give Ryan credit for at least taking these big fights even though hes a major star and will probably lose. If only it was the norm we'd be having big fights in boxing every few weeks. Yeah I'm not really a fan of his personality but credit where it's due, he's willing to take risks. Same goes for Haney.

3 split decision wins Did you watch the fights? The Bey fight was close and ugly but there was no reason the Selby or Lopez fights should've been split decisions. He won them decisively and nearly got robbed both times because he was the unknown road b-side guy.

Kambosos has wins as an underdog road B-side against Teofimo Lopez, Mickey Bey, and Lee Selby. Those three wins alone are better than Campbell's entire career. 3 split decision wins

What % chance to win do you deem a "good chance"? I think Ryan is a skilled guy, but he's looking more basic as hes gone up in class is the thing I'm seeing. He got dropped by the not known as a big puncher Campbell, he got stopped by Tank & he didn't look great vs this last guy for most of the fight. I also think Ryan lacks focus & the drive to succeed at this level of the game. Hes all over the place & lackadaisical in a lot of the media he does. Not like a guy dedicated to his craft like a Floyd, Shakur or Devin when I hear them talk boxing. Thing is Ryan does have power & Devin's chin still has question marks on it best case from that Linares fight. So sh^t can happen here obviously but this feels like a 80/20 Devin fight to me which I personally wouldn't consider being in the good chance to win range for Ryan. Ryan was exposed to be as weak minded as Victor Ortiz. Ryan also isn’t as durable as Prograis. Haney knocks him out in 10 or less. Big prediction being that Haney hasnt knocked anyone out in his last 8 fights
