What does that mean for BoxingScene? I'll be running the forums going forward. Anybody who wants to keep on yapping about Jamaine Ortiz fighting just like SRL is getting summarily shit-canned.

Many of the articles are effectively placement ads anyway. I don't see the big drama here to be honest. This place is hardly a bastion of quality journalism. Exactly. There is no journalistic standard to speak of when Hans Themistode is the most prolific 'writer' on this site. Within one year, most sports news will be ghostwritten by LLM apps - if that's not already happening. I swore that Hans Themistode was a 1st gen Bulgarian AI, but he's actually a real human who just went to US public schools.

If they get rid of Idec or Jake they are fooking up. Idec always comes off great on any media I see him on. Hes a great Face of Boxingscene representative. And Jake is one of the most call it like he sees it, no bs guys around. Some of these other mfers tho.... Keith Idec was fired for writing backwards. He won't be missed.

At least he's still going to do it somewhere, I guess. he deserves to be doing color commentary on tv boxing shows - I hope he gets picked up for that

That Garry Jonas guy? How did he get THAT rich? No clue. Someone who's word I trust claims to have seen financial docs that back it up. However I have not seen that with my own eyes, so it could indeed be BS. But seeing what he spent on a hotel conversion and other things here in the Tampa area, its certainly plausible that he has significant net worth. But I also know that he is notoriously CHEAP, so who knows for sure? lol

Great news! ProBox is the best. Such great, competitive fights. I love all their analysis because I don’t need to agree, just be genuine.

I can't believe they failed to re-up with Breadman - for me, that was the best reason to log in. Bread will be missed - and I still never quite got to the bottom of whether he was the poster Blackbread904 or whatever - strong hints in that he was the only player to Pick J-Rock over Hurd in the prediction league plus a couple other clues about fights he mentioned he'd been to that I know Breadman had.. Can’t speak for how probox will run this site, but they have done a phenomenal job w / probox on youtube, good commentary, good ring girls, good match making….Always have supported their cards on here along edpboxing and a few others …Hopefully they carry that along to here ..BPP is a GOAT , good luck whatever your future endeavors..
