Let's settle this once and for all: Who would have won?
I got Floyd. Khan's chin is usually considered his biggest flaw, but it's actually his ring IQ. There's no nice way to say it: Khan was a DUMB fighter. There's a reason he came up short every time he fought someone who wasn't either past it or featherfisted, other than the Maidana fight. And Khan's footwork sucked. Maidana, who isn't known for his footwork, was able to catch up to him. Even Algieri, who couldn't escape from an aging Pacquiao, had no trouble catching up to Khan.
No Mayweather tweeted a poll saying he will fught the winner of the poll. Khan got the most votes
So did Manny lol. and Khan won and Manny went elsewhere.
Floyd only fought slow plodders. What great boxers did Floyd fight that were anywhere near prime...just say baldomir I dare you! But he would best prime Barrera? Let me tell you something he would duck him like he ducked everyone else
Baldomir was ranked #1 at WW and in his prime.
You know what that means to you, right? You don’t need me to say it, do you?
Larry merchant told the boxing community that Floyd Mayweather couldn’t hit, and people ran with it. Truth is, Amir had nothing for Floyd. We saw him get flattened by Canelo at middleweight and that was supposed to happen. We saw him lose to Danny Garcia at Junior welterweight, that really wasn’t supposed to happen and he lost to Prescott at lightweight. So you mean to tell me that Prescott and Danny hit harder than Floyd Mayweather, when Floyd used to make men that would fight him at 165 and higher back up????
This was never truly a legitimate fight. Amir couldn’t do anything with Floyd. He had no good defense, kept his chin in the air too long, couldn’t fight moving backwards, had poor upper body movement, threw all of his punches at the same speed, he had an awful defense and had clunky footwork.
It's crazy how this topic is brought up just because Khan is fast. Why do we act like Floyd has never dealt with speed? Pacquiao is fast, probably faster than Khan. Floyd beat him pretty easy.
Floyd is 0-91 in fantasy fights on NSB.
Ive seen certain posters act like every one of his fantasy opponents is a combination is a combination of Willie Pep defense, Tyson power, and SRR skillset.
Lmfao.
Nobody knows who would win and Floyd could have made a fight with Khan, but Khan wasn't another slow short armed flat footed come forward fighter that will have the Floyd Boys googleeyed. He definitely had enough speed skill and heart to make it a long night for a powder puff punching ww like Mayweather.
Khan actually brought more money to the table so the reward was high but so was the risk above 40% you know Floyd don't take those type risks.

- - Yeah, so that Y l'l floydy shame hisself to his fans by not fighting the winner of his website poll that was KHAN, who commanded considerably more fans than Maidana.
What grade was U in then?
Who in the fuck cares who brought in more fans. Amir Khan had nothing for Floyd at all. He couldn’t handle any of those elite boxers. Khan won like one poll out of several. I was out of school by 2014. I first got into high school back in 2001. So add it up

Manny shamed himself having a Poll Khan won and then not fighting the winner .
What grade was you ?
Khan has a worse chin, squares up too much, can’t fight moving backwards, has clunky footwork, poor upper body coordination and throws all his punches at the same speed. He had zero for Floyd. Danny and Prescott stopped him, Floyd would’ve done so as well.

2 busted orbital bones a long career you are not going to get a more shot Brook and Khan was still scared of him, Brook tried to make the fight for years and Khan wanted nothing to do with Kell, I think at any time Brook would have stopped Khan just too rugged and punches to hard for the brittle Khan.
Khan avoided getting knocked out by Maidana and was handling Canelo's power for the first 6 rounds before being flattened by the mother of all right hands. Therefore, I don't think it's a huge stretch to say that prime Khan (pre-Canelo/Crawford etc) could've taken Brook's best shots plus he had the speed advantage back then so wouldn't have been tagged as often as when they finally fought.
Barrera was old says the Floyd fan...he was 35when he fought khan. Manny was 36 when Floyd fought him...Marquez was 36...Mosley 39 etc...don't even realize you fell into the trap. Based on your own argument you should be criticizing floyd...yet you stan him. Khan is a bum obviously. Ya walked right into it
Well, you selectively left out the facts again.
Barrera wasn't ranked anywhere when Khan fought him.
Whereas both Pacquaio and Mosley were Top 5 at WW and Top 5 P4P.
Marquez Top 5 at LW but not WW and Top 5 P4P.
Come on, these are facts remember.

Barrera had been retired for 2 years. Manny and JMM hadn’t retired. Don’t forget the facts daggum.
I think the stage would've gotten to Khan. A massive high profile fight would make him bleed energy. Add on top of that Floyd not getting flustered I think would mentally wear down Khan. I think Khan would win the first 2, maybe 3 rounds as Floyd experiments with what to do, Floyd takes over, and Khan picks up another round late only because Floyd would take that round off. 8-4 win Floyd barring any knockdowns.
Disagree...Khan got stopped on his feet in his final fight against Brook and didn't go down once in the fight. Therefore, I think that prime Amir (pre-Canelo/Crawford stoppages) would've been able to handle Brook's power and potentially boxed circles round him. Still, it would've been a 50-50 pick 'em fight.

so what, if ref didnt stop it then what is next, his corner stops it, khan quits or brook sparks him clean out.
