Not going to happen. I don't do predictions on fights that I know are not going to happen.
Unlike some who can just casually say KO inside round six, or any stupid thing like that. It's not fair for the guy who is not able to defend himself because fight can't happen for him. What's the point?
Honestly Teo should be calling out and chasing Haney, that is a good style match up and Haney dont have the power that Bud has so Teo's pressure will be more effective. Bud will just use lateral movement, catch him with a counter from an angle while teo is jumping in and put his lights out. If haney lands the same shot then Teo eats it and keeps working.
Both men started at 135. So size won’t be an issue. I’d bet on the younger man. Crawford is old and it’s only a matter of time before he changes over night. Spence lost cause he’s been forcing himself fight at 147 far too long.
almost zero, his only chance is that bud ages over night or struggles with the weight cut but i dont see that happening. hell Teo's style isnt even great for bud, bud wants a guy who will come to him like that
What Chance Would You Give Teofimo Lopez if he fought Terence Crawford Next?
What percent chance does he have of beating Terence Crawford
- - About as much as you vs Minnie Mouse…
One thing that's gotta count against him is that he's so inconsistent. I've doubted him in the past, so I'd be tempted to give him the benefit of the doubt, but I just don't see how he wins that fight. 6 inch reach disadvantage, huge weight disadvantage, and I don't think he'd have his usual speed advantage, and Bud hits so hard, while Teo's power hasn't really moved up as well. Maybe if Bud has really outgrown the division and were weight drained with a rehydration clause, but Bud is the A-side, and there's a billion better fights for him. He'd get no credit for beating up Teo when there's Ennis, Tszyu, Mell, Canelo, etc. So the fight wouldn't happen anyways.
Teofimo is not a natural 140 pounder imo and would need to acclimate to 147. He won't be able to outbox Crawford and someone like Sandor Martin that uses angles with timing neutralized him when tried to apply pressure.
Surprisingly I think he might perform similarly to Shawn Porter but would be worn down relatively quickly. Guy is a glass canon, has top notch power and skills, but always gets caught despite having mobile feet and defensive skills. (Just lacks the reflexes despite his athleticism) He has 2/10 odds perhaps. (3/10 if adjusted to the weight and fully focused).
Crawford is physically bigger, and has 100% knockout ratio at WW. Teofimo can take most hits and take it up a notch like let's say Juan Manuel Marquez, but this step up might just be too much.
Teo can beat him funny how ppl forget how bad Crawford looked against part time porter and he beat a corpse in Spence who had absolutely zero resistance due to his bad habits.
Crawford is the most overrated boxer of this generation agenda driven media was already calling him p4p before he even beat a top guy tells you all you gotta know about how overrated he is.
Teo at 25 has already accomplished more or equal of what Crawford has.
I would expect Crawford to win by late KO withTeo performing better than expected, forcing Crawford to go to the next level.
I expect a Floyd v Hatton type fight if it happens.
Good chance, Teo is a really great talent who won some pretty big fights already. He would have a few things going for him against Crawford. Crawford has issues with fast fighters and compared to some of the guys Crawford fought recently, Teo will be seem like The Flash in comparison.
Another thing which has to be taken into in that Crawford's on the wrong side of 30 and no matter how good you are or how much experience age dulls reflex's and reflex's matter a lot in boxing.
If Teo's team is serious campaign at 147 for the next year, get acclimated to the weight and the challenge Crawford, it's a very winnable fight for them.
I like to see fighters take on big challenges, like Ive seen for 20 yrs here when a fighter wins in spectacular fashion he becomes Superman, when I look at TC resume its says Teo could compete with him, the thing with TC is he gets hit and Teo can punch so that gives him a chance. I see the same with TC vs Canelo I love the challenge and TC is in that fight the same as Teo is in it at 147. I wish more fighters would take on these kinda fights.

Teo would maybe take the first two three rounds before Bud begins dissecting him just like we all did in school
% wise , 10% maybe
Couple of Jack cokes , I’d drop it to 5%
He’d do what Teo did to Taylor to put into better words
Tailor made for Bud
