Its just the norm due to boxings established business model to have to spend ridiculous money to get fights made, even ones that arent that great, the fighters are mercenaries. The UFC could put on a whole 12 fight card that would draw similar numbers to this for less than half of what AJ and Ngannou alone are getting paid.
